I am quite pleased with this purchase … I have gas heat with a furnace in the attic … with carbon monoxide poisoning being the silent killer, I bought the monitor … I feel better just having the monitor plugged in 24/7 …

Would give 0 stars if possible. Useless item out of the box. Smoke detection feature constantly detects smoke even in clean air. No option to silence just smoke or CO feature. Complete and utter waste of money.

Two of these worked great and as they should, but the third one will not plug in correctly. It plugs in, but unless you continue to push on it, it does not stay on. I have tried it in multiple outlets.

The most important features of ANY smoke/CO detector are: 1. You have one 2. You know that it’s functionalThis 4-in-1 Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarm sold by the TMEOIIPY store seems to meet both of those criteria. Consumer testing of these devices can shorten their lifespan, so I didn’t bother with testing the CO levels. But a small puff of smoke from an piece of burned paper napkin was enough to trigger the smoke alarm. But there are a couple neat features that really made this safety device appealing to me. When I travel for work, I don’t trust the detectors in hotel rooms. This nifty detector will now provide a second level of protection when I’m on the road. I also do a lot of camping. Now I have a convenient way to protect myself while sleeping in my tent. The carry lanyard is also a convenient way to hang it from the ceiling of the tent, or on the edge of a hotel picture frame. The unit has two backing plates. One allows it to be plugged directly into a wall outlet. The other is a magnet cap so that it can be mounted on anything metal. This is neat, but it also introduces a problem: There’s no place to store the backing plates. So-called “travel” items should have a way of neatly storing unused accessories. I can already see myself losing one of the two plates. As far as travel gadgets go, this smoke/CO alarm just jumped to the top of my list.
