Missing Part: The picture shows a cover for the box, but it was not included. I just got the UN3 RX receiver. The original receiver box was designated Un3 - are they the same? The Un3 had a plastic cover. Contacted the seller and they immediately agreed to ship a cover to me (good customer service so far). However, I connected the box to the fire, and it worked in manual mode but the remote did not cause the fire to light. I will check the batteries in the SR 1001 remote. If they are good, then there is apparently a mismatch between receiver box and the remote transmitter. Update later...

Defective. This device does not last more than 1 season of occasional use. I guess the heat wears it down. I just purchased my 5th replacement. Very annoying

Restored the remote control to the battery-operated gas logs. Great to have heat that is NOT dependent on the power grid being up. Just press the "ON" button and we again have heat.

Product replaced a ProCom RG04-1M and synched up on 1st try with the original RG04-1T (thermostat equipped remote). As mentioned there needed to be some wiring work done ( I added crimp-on connectors to mate with the connectors on the unit). Very happy to avoid replacing entire set of logs just to get remote working again.
