About this item

  • Maintain Strong Suction: The dust collector collects most sawdust, wood dust, and other debris into the bucket before they enter the vacuum cleaner, reducing clogging of the vacuum cleaner filters and allowing the vacuum cleaner to maintain strong suction.
  • Extend Filters Life: This dust collector collects most dust and debris in the bucket before it enters the filter of the vacuum cleaner, and the metal filter filters the air to keep smaller debris from entering the vacuum cleaner. Reduces the frequency of cleaning or replacing vacuum cleaner filters, effectively extending the life of the filter.
  • Fit Standard Size Paint Bucket (5 US Gallons) & Easy Installation: This dust collector fits standard-size paint buckets (5 US Gallons), and the simple installation steps make it easy to connect the dust collector, bucket, and vacuum cleaner. (Bucket sold separately)
  • Wide Application: Suitable for collecting sawdust, wood dust, dust, water, drywall dust, concrete dust, debris, and so on.
  • Includes: (1) dust collector, (2) 90 degree elbow, (1) 2‘ x 2-1/2" hose, (1) metal filter.

Improve Vacuum Performance

By attaching the dust collector and bucket to the vacuum cleaner, most of the dust and debris will be collected in the bucket, delaying filter clogging, reducing the frequency of replacement, and maintaining the powerful suction power of the vacuum.

it does not work as describe, the filter clogs to frequent (3+ times a day) sucks the air of the bucket until it cracks if you are not watching close, I replaced the bucket twice, I tried it for two months before I decided to put it in the trash can, I give it one start because I can't go lower, totally waist of money

I bought the Shop-Vac brand because it's going on a Shop-Vac. These guys know what they're doing. It works just like it says. Very little sawdust makes it to the actual vac. It saves the Shop-Vac filter it's simple to remove to dump the container - much simpler than dumping the actual Shop-Vac.I'm verty pleased with it and would recommend.

Tried it out on arrival. Works as described. Quality passable. Easy to use. Longevity questionable. Need history to recommend product.

Highly recommend. I put this on a 5 Gallon Home Depot bucket and it works awesome with my shop vac on my miter saw, wood planer, belt/disc sander combo, scroll saw, and bandsaw.

For the price, you can’t beat it. Other bucket top units cost a lot more. I can hang this under my saw, connect it to my mini dust collector, and I’m ready to go.

A dramatic difference between using this and not using anything at all. I have buckets around anyway, so this is a perfect interim dust collection solution for that occasional need. My only wish is that the hose that comes with it was a little longer, but it still worked fine.

I used this for a few weeks. It barely collected dust. The filter kept clogging and, when it wasn’t clogged, it let so much dust through that it killed my Craftsman brand shop vac. I ditched this and bought a Dewalt shop vac and dust separator. I would recommend doing that instead of buying this.

It works pretty well, and is easy to attach to a Lowe's Blue Bucket. You will likely need longer hoses and an adapter or two, depending on your tools. Stiff and/or short hoses make it difficult to keep the unit upright, as lid+bucket is very light, and it MUST be upright to work. This isn't going to get you through a whole day of sawing, planing and routering, but you shouldn't be looking to this small/portable solution for those needs. The hardest job I've given it so far is planing down some flooring by about 3/16, and I got through about 15 boards before I had to empty the bucket. Your mileage may vary.
