Got the two pack of these to adapt a few hoses to my 2.5” dust collection pipes. Will attach to pipes via coupling or a short length of 2.5 flex hose and a couple clamps… or, you know, duct tape. The other end can adapt to several size hoses, depending on your dust output of the machine you’re connecting.Cheap and high quality, but you will need to cut these at the desired hose size and will need a clamp since the ends aren’t barbed. This is a probably a feature as it appears to be intended for hose terminators and not raw spiral hoses. Still it’s a cheap and effective way to attach tools to either a dust collection system or directly to a 2.5” wet dry vac hose

Worked well to reduce from 2 1/4 " to 1 1/4". Also like the ability to secure them to my workspace.

If you going to 3D print something for sale, at least do it correctly.

This has the slightly crude look and feel of something 3D at home on a cheap 3D printer. This isn't necessarily so terrible, except neither end of this "universal vacuum hose adapter" fits my miter saw, table saw, handheld power sander, dust extractor or shop vac. Apparently this is not nearly as universal as claimed in the item description. In any case it's useless to me.

The first thing I noticed about this hose adapter was the price. I thought for sure I was missing something. It was $2.99 on November 10,2024. I thought it is probably made out of a cheap plastic and would break apart on the first use. It’s not. This is a durable accessory for your dust collection. I have another brand which is rubberier and easier to insert the shop hose into but Lauhais brand worked very well too. It’s more stiff than my other brand that I have had for years and that is about the only difference between the two.With these types of adapters, it can be tricky to get them to match up with other adapters or hoses but that is exactly why I picked this adapter. I have several shop vacuums and dust collection units in my workshop and none of it is universal and adapters like the Lauhais adapter work out very well for my workshop needs.
