Too short to get to the bottom of the jar. Finish is plain, rustable steel. I’m old enough to remember this type of utensil as the norm, and was glad to be done with them.

These are great quality, heavy spreader knives. I guess I should have pulled out a ruler to see how small 5.5 inches is. I was looking for something that could put a good slather of butter on in one swipe, these are too small.
