Love this butter slicer - just like grandma used to have. There is a reason they are still around. They work and they last a long, long time. I think my last one may have belonged to my mother. We use ours to slice hard boiled eggs for salads, too.

This is such a great little device! It can be used to cut many things but what I use it for most is to cut sticks of butter for cooking. Each cut is exactly 1/2 tbsp so it makes it easy to measure for recipes.

This slicer is easy to use and easy to clean! Highly recommend it! I use it on Kerrygold Butter! I slice the block in half with a knife then use the slicer on each half!

I made a dump cake last night which called for 2 sticks of sliced butter. It was so nice and quick to use this handy little tool to make quick work of slicing!

This Stainless-Steel Butter Slicer is a good slicer, and it works great and would recommend it if you need a slicer, and it can slicer other things besides butter like cheese and things like that.

Summer time is here and it is time for me to put the butter dish back in the fridge. I don't like my butter to get very soft when sitting out. I saw this, and thought this would be the answer. I can quickly/easily slice my butter up and then put it back in the dish and into the fridge. Now, I can just take the couple tabs of butter I need, and let them soften as I get everything else ready. Is this necessary? Absolutely not. Is it nice to have, yes. Is it worth $15? I would probably find this on sale. This is purely a convenience item.
