I got this for the household. My wife took it, and I haven't had a chance to try it myself. She has used it on both our kids so far and said it was easy to use. She likes the digital display, and the fact that she can take pictures and videos. Great when making an initial assessment of what's going on.Overall, she is happy with it and so am I.

The picture is surprisingly clear. Fits very well in the ear and comes with plenty of tips to use for sizing. Magnification is good, lighting is good, if done very carefully I've used it on my german shepherd ears since he is very prone to infection. Probably not recommended but I also used it up a baby goat's nose when she had aspirated and i was struggling to tube where the mucus was in her airways. For the price this is a really good otoscope that seems like it'll stick around for a long time and be useful in a lot of situations. The only thing I don't like is that the charger didn't come with a block but that's fairly standard for most things now unfortunately, so not going to take away a star for it (reluctantly, send blocks too!!).

This is probably a statement of the obvious, but since using this device means inserting something into the ear canal, I suggest being extremely cautious. I don’t plan on using any of the “ear pick” tools, but just use the device with a speculum attached to look into the ear. Overall, the tool is impressive. The image is better than I expected. The light is adjustable, although they recommend keeping it on the lowest setting when inside the ear. The user interface takes a little practice to get used to, but once you work with it, it’s pretty straightforward.. I like that you can capture both still images and video. I wanted to try the Wi-Fi, but since there were no reviews on the app on either Google or Apple, I decided to install the app on an older android phone that I no longer use. You do have to accept the permissions it asked for in order to get a connection established, but none of them seemed intrusive. I did get it working. There is a bit of lag, but nothing I can’t work with. I have not tried downloading images from the device to a computer. I used it today while cleaning the wax from my elderly dad’s ears. It enabled me to do a very good job, which was important because the wax can clog his hearing aids.

This digital Otoscope, with a built in screen and 1080p quality has been working great for assisting in cleaning waxed up ears. Just for this use, I was happy. However I found it extremely useful for checking my son's ears for a possible infection when he was sick. But the best use so far was when a bug flew into my ear. I tried to use a Q-tip to get it out but could not. That bug just kept flapping it's wings and was the worst feeling knowing I had a live bug in my ear. Had no idea what it was and I was very concerned of the bug causing damage. Without this scope, I would have needed to go to the doctors office. However with the assistance of this Otoscope, my son was able to scoop the bug out. I'm so grateful I had a Otoscope that had a clear picture and assortment of scoops to assist in the bug removal. There's so many other uses this scope is good for besides just cleaning wax. I also love the ability to connect the scope to a phone, provides a bigger picture and if needed a picture can also be taken. I'm so grateful I have this extremely useful tool. Worth every penny. I've recommended this unit to my sisters and I recommend it to everyone else, especially parents. I has a minor issue with the connection to the phone, but after reconnecting, it cleared up. otherwise this Digital Otoscope has worked great. ,

I am not a doctor or nurse. However, I’ve been curious about getting an Otoscope to screen the health of my kids ears before calling the doctor. I also have problems with my left ear, and wanted to use the otoscope on myself. This otoscope is hefty and appears to be high quality, but I am untrained. The images are crisp and clear. It is relatively easy to use, and provides great function, like zoom and the ability to take photographs or record video. The images are plenty bright without over exposing the detail. I have used on four occasions and battery is still full.I did download the App and connect my phone to the otoscope, but I found the results a little disappointing. The Otoscope emits a WiFi signal like a wireless hotspot. Then you can connect your phone to the signal. I have an iPhone 13 mini, and I had trouble connecting to the otoscope. When connected, there was terrible lag, and my phone would frequently disconnect. I will say the App’s features were nice and easy to navigate.Overall, it appears to be high quality, but the wireless connectivity was not great. The device offers good value, but it is a little too expensive to highly recommend. The price could be more competitive.

I really dislike going to see doctors, especially when I get there and they find nothing. Worse, you child is complaining, but is it real or just a ploy for something else? Using this tool I can clearly see what is going on and take pictures to email our doc, or monitor a diagnosis to see if things are getting better or a follow-up visit is going to be required. The tool requires a bit of a learning curve to navigate the UI. It's not as intuitive as it could be, but it could be a LOT worse too. I have not tested the WiFi connectivity it offers, I tend to distrust IOT devices too much to allow network access. It takes a bit of practice to get a high quality picture, but it's bot bad at all once you get the hang of it. It's easy to export and send the image to your doc if needed, with date, time and side of the body the image was taken embedded on the image. That's pretty slick.
