I charged the device. Downloaded the app needed to use. I couldn't get the device to work with the app. I don't know if the device was defective or it was the app. I made sure I did everything right. After reading the reviews for the app, I decided to return the device.

I love this product. It allows me to check my ears or my loved one’s ears with ease. The battery life is great and it is very user friendly. It connects to my phone with no problems and allows me to see inside my ear on my phone screen. It also allows me to make a video in case I need to show the Doctor. It is very easy to clean and as you can see it gives a clear picture/video of the ear canal. I know it may look like an icky picture to some but I wanted you all to see the clarity. I definitely recommend buying this product especially if you have little ones.

As an "aid" user, ear canal problems can be frequent. Moisture is trapped and ear canal irritation issues occur. When my ENT's office was closed, I got this next day using Prime. Easy to use, connected to Android tablet, and got fantastic images of the ear canal. Takes some practice twisting the device to get best view. Has a "take photo" button that is easy to push and capture the best images. The package comes with a card to scan a QR Code. That option does not work well if you have security settings on Chrome set as it does not like the APK extension. As instructions state, simply go to BK WIFI and download the app thru Play Store. That option works just fine. Also includes a library folder for the images you take and ability to share. Also can record videos instead of photos. (Have not tried these last 2 features out yet) Was able to diagnosis my current problem as bacterial infection versus wax build up or fungus this time. Having the ability to monitor issues getting better or worse, for a very reasonable cost, is well worth it.

Turned up out of the box, not in a functioning/working condition. Picture/video broken and rolling constantly. Threw straight in the bin. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying this.

This thing is freakin amazing. Wish I knew of it sooner. I was having terrible clogging of the ears, especially in the winter months. During my sleep, depending on what ear I was sleeping on, I would wake up and not be able to hear out of that ear. But let me back up a bit...Sticking things in my ear gives me really high anxiety so I’ve never used Q-tips because of the warnings that those push wax further into the ear. I would just use my finger with a little bit of tissue. So all this time wax had been building up in my ear to the point where it was completely blocking my canal and laying down on my ear only made it worse and the wax would get pushed together to where I couldn’t hear. It was awful. I began to get desperate and have my partner try and look into my ear and use a Q-tip to try and get something out. But that did not work as the wax was beyond the point of something as big as a Q-tip working. I then ordered one of those ear washing kits you can use to basically spray out your ear using water and a peroxide like solution. It comes with a little attachment you hook to a spray bottle that fits in your ear. Again, really anxious about using it but being so desperate I gave it all my courage. It’s quite an uncomfortable experience tho, you have to really make sure the water is warm. The sensation is like getting water in your ear while swimming and then added noise as if there was rushing water right on your ear drum. Super awkward. It sort of worked. I mean By sort of... it took out small pieces of the wax out. It gave me some relief, but not for long. Once again it was back to the same. I thought I’d give Amazon another search to see if there were better tools to try and get the wax out of my ear. I was really trying to avoid not having to go to a doctor to get it removed. I was lucky to find this gem of a product, it looked promising being able to see what’s in your ear with with a camera. I had some hesitation when I first unboxed it and connected it to my phone. I’m not one for biology like things like what’s in your ear, I don’t want to look, On top of expecting the worse. I gave my ear a few looks and it wasn’t too bad, some white looking wax build up. I thought I should be able to get that out. I put it away as it was enough for me for that day. Of course once again I woke up with one ear completely blocked. I though then I really needed to give this thing a try. To help loosen the wax a bit I used some peroxide drops I found at Walgreens and put them in my ears and jumped into a hot shower. I let the water hit my ears and the steam build up a bit. Once I was out I grabbed the little scope, launched the app, and started looking into my ears. I could see the wax really well and it was somewhat loose and gooey, yuk. I attached one of the little adapters to the scope. It looks like a really tiny spoon. I then began to go really really slowly to see if I could scoop the wax. It took some practice, with orientation of your hand and your phone and it’s just tricky. But I began to have some luck. I was getting small chunks out. This began to give me hope so I was a little more at ease and confident that if I go slow and take my time I won’t hurt my ears at all. So once I got going it was all good things from there, I began to get BIG globs out, and holy cow it was just like some promo videos I saw once of people getting out big chunks of wax. It was gross but fascinating. I was so ecstatic once I got it all out, I could hear so much better and my tinnitus / ear ringing was lowered, I could sleep on my side and not have my ears completely blocked when I woke up anymore! What a great device. I’m going to use it often and recommend it to anyone with a little patience and some dexterity. It’s a true hear savor!

I purchased this otoscope after visiting an ear doctor for my hearing and seeing the inside of my ear from his professional otoscope. I was very impressed by the high quality image of this otoscope. It provides the same level of detail as the professional one.Features I really like about this otoscope:- Relatively inexpensive, but high quality, feels like a professional instrument- Wireless it provides a private WIFI signal that you connect to with your phone. Then you use the app to get the instant high quality video signal.- Several size attachments and cleaning tools provided for best fit and nice box to keep it organized.- App provides orientation buttons for left and right to make it easier for precise control.- App allows you to take snapshot that goes to your photo album that you can easily share.I originally ordered this thinking it would be nice to be able to use it to clean the earwax from inside my ear. But actually it is quite painful and dangerous to attempt to physically remove dried earwax from inside your ear. Unless it is completely blocking the eardrum it is normal to have some earwax. There are other less dangerous and painful methods of removing earwax buildup. But this otoscope is great for taking a close look inside your ear. I just wouldn't recommend attempting to use it to clean earwax from your ear.
