This is a great price for a great item. I get chronic ear infections and instead of going to the urgent care all the time I have my daughter look in my ear. I have a whole bunch of adapters on the end. I even use it to look at my cat ears. Definitely recommend this product.

This works as described. Gives a moderately good view of ear interior. It is nicely light weight and very easy to use. It's not super high quality medical grade, but I think meets expectations for the price point.Very useful item for making sure ears are properly clean and free of foreign objects.I also have one for checking my dogs ears to ensure they are clean, healthy looking, and free of mites.

I bought this Otoscope mainly for use at home. I'm a nurse, with young nieces and family members who often have ear infections or ear pain. It feels very light in the hand, and has a bright light. The clip on the side turns it on, and it's activated by the slightest touch. Could be a problem for some people, depending on how you store it. The ear piece easily comes off, turning it into a penlight. It is a great price, but not professional quality. The magnification is not strong...I took one star off for that. But it's better than nothing. It does get the job done, and would be fine for students. It would probably even suffice for nurses. For the price, I'd say it's worth picking one up, since it's a great tool to have on hand..

As many other satisfied customers have said about this little Otoscope, it does it's job.Yes it is extremely cheaply made ie. think of a toy set of binoculars, maybe a bit harsh, but I think about right in fairness & yes it does do the job. That being the important bit.If like me you just need a cheap handy method to look down a loved ones ears to check on the wax situation once in a long while & then carefully put the gizmo back in its cardboard box (taking the batteries out first to stave off trouble) & putting it safely away in a wardrobe away from unwanted attention.. Then this is just fine, no problem, I've no doubt it'll be around for many years to come.I don't think it's designed to be taken out & about & given a regular good using, well not for long anyway. It's about the same size, maybe a bit bigger, than a top-pocket type torch & comes with three extra ears pieces that vary in diameter at the business end to accommodate different sized ear canals. It uses a basic led bulb, which is just about bright enough, & two AAA batteries that come with it. An upgrade with really decent batteries is worth doing straight away. The magnifying lens is just about up to task, again I think of those binoculars maybe.Overall the bottom line is simple, as far as I can make out having searched around & I could be wrong, priced at about Β£15 I suspect much more money altogether would need to be spent out to get hold of something in a different category.& Of course, what we really want is one from that different category but why spend the money considering they'll both spend 95+% of their time in the wardrobe. At this sort of price level to get something at all that will do a reasonable job is an achievement in itself.. Thank you.

This device helps me to save my nerves when my children catch a cold. Once I check their ears, I know it's not urgent to see a doctor right away to start the antibiotics against the otitis. It also helped us to follow up the developed otitis and to see it's gone after a course of AB.The quality of this otoscope is not as good, but it values its price. And it does its job. I would only recommend to put something between the holder and the pin which turns on the light just to save your battery.

Value for the money you pay, good light that gives a clear image of the ear canal able to view the tympanic membrane easily, I have used better quality however there like 15 times the cost and this is perfect to use at home to keep an eye on childβs wax build up and ear infections. Would buy again

This is a cheaper otoscope. It's not fancy, but it's perfect for home use. I can check my kids for ear infections quite easily. There are pictures online of what the inside of an ear should and should not look like. With this, you can get your kids to the doctor sooner when you know there is something wrong. The light has a tendency to stay on. I just slipped a piece of paper between the button and the sensor (that will make more sense when you get yours) and pull the paper out when I want the light on.

In this box there is the otoscope, 4 speculas , and 2 batteries. I use my otoscope weekly to check my kids ears. All 3 of them get really waxy if we do not stay on top of keeping them clean. They also are susceptible to ear infections. I like knowing if their ears are hurting from wax or from an actual infection before running to the doctor. FYI, from my ENT dr, for other moms with kids with waxy ears. 1-2 drops of baby oil in the ears 1 time a week will help keep kids ears clean.ProsEasy to put batteries in.Can easily see inside any size ear with the different sized speculas. The head removes so it is just like a flashlight.Has a clip to clip to a pocket so it does not get lost in your pocket. The magnification on this is awesome.ConsThere is no instructions and I am not sure how to turn it off without taking the batteries out.The head falls off easily. The light flickers. You have to hold it just right or the light turns off and on.The light is not that bright.I would say it does get the job done but i have used better quality products in the past. This would be PERFECT for a "real" doctor play set for kids.
