Kabel wykonany jest z solidnych materiałów bardzo dobrej jakości. Żadnego bawienia się w instalowanie dodatkowych sterowników - po prostu podłączasz i działasz (pług 'n' play).

After reading mini reviews about ethernet to USB-C dongle‘s, this turned out to be probably the highest rated. I really wanted to like it due to its construction and its higher ratings. At first it works like a charm just like they said. But then after a while, it would have difficulty navigating the 101,000 or 10 Mb per second. Often times I would have to disconnect the adapter from the computer reconnect to get it above 100 Mb per second.

I purchased this a while back, but just realized this a few days ago. On a Windows 10 laptop fully patched and updated, and on a MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7 it only provides 100 mbs connection speed. I tested an older Satechi Type-A USB 3 Ethernet adapter using a USB-A to C adapter, and the older connector does provide a gigabit connection. This testing was done on the same two computers (Mac and Windows PC) and the same network port.Addendum-- after contacting Satechi twice, I was sent a replacement adapter which does make a Gigabit connection. I assume they revised their design or they are using an updated Realtek chipset in later versions. I have always been using the most current Realtek drivers. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars.

As soon as I plugged this into my son's Chromebook 15, it worked in a matter of seconds. I didn't have to do anything else. It works great!

It looks like original equipment for the MacBook Pro, and feels well-made. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. This is true for the Satechi HDMI adapter that I bought at the same time. One reviewer referred to these products as plug and play, but I think they meant to say plug and pray.

I was a little skeptical about compatibility at first, as I've been burned before on USB NICs that say they're compatible, but require you to go find some obscure driver package online to make it work, however this one worked as expected with both OSX and Windows. I haven't done any detailed performance testing, as I really only use this when doing network maintenance tasks. It provides a stable, physical gigabit connection to the LAN, which is all I need it to do.Other positives include good build quality and a color/finish matching the 2017 MBP pretty closely, which is another reason I chose this particular adapter.Absolutely no complaints here. Great product.

Necessary accessory for a MacBook Pro that spends any time on your desk. Ethernet will always be faster than WiFi, uses less power than having WiFi turned on, and the fit/finish of this unit is the closest you will get to an Apple factory product.
