This stuff works awesome. It took all the rusty parts underneath my car and turned them into a paintable surface. You don't need to paint it if you don't want to because this turns rusty metal jet black. It really works well you can't go wrong with this product. Trust me try it and you'll love it.

Had rusty tire rack on my car trailer and one coat of those made it look like new, no sanding, no scraping, just brush it on!! Was disappointed at size of product, but it covered very well and one can was more than enough to do the entire tire rack

It smells a little bit like Rust-Oleum paint, but other than that I'm not even sure what this paint actually is. It definitely is nothing like any spray on rust converter that I've used. It doesn't work at all. After several layers of this paint, you could still see the rust through it.It also seems to easily peel off once fully dried. If it is possible to return I would probably prefer to do that. I used it for a very small project to test it out, it didn't work, so I'm not interested in wasting time using it on bigger projects. Very disappointed. I think just regular Rust-Oleum paint would work better than this, at least covering the rust fully. It definitely is not an actual rust converter.
