Gave this to my husband for Christmas and he is thrilled with it!!! Says it fits his Cornet perfectly and he can keep his books in there as well. He really likes shoulder strap and the comfort of carrying the bag.

Coming from a hard case with only 2 handles (no backpack or shoulder straps), this bag is wonderful. It carries all of my essentials along with my sheet music and even a smaller water bottle if needed. I even feel somewhat at ease about the protection of my trumpet as it has a hard section towards the bell of the instrument. The only thing I would say is the sheet music pocket is not especially large so you may have trouble fitting some music folders inside but for me, it was a perfect fit. Well worth the price.

小さいので背負っていても邪魔にならない。楽譜も結構入るので頼もしい。ポケットにも小物やミュートなども入るので、重宝しています。入れすぎるとそれなりに重くなります。

Had been looking for a trumpet gig bag for my daughter’s trumpet for some time, but could never find one at a reasonable price which would fit trumpet & mutes!But this one finally fits the bill.Trumpet fits in snuggly to the cushioned inner so it feels well protected. There is a large pocket on the side which fits in 3 mutes, see photo in which we have squeezed in a cup mute, a straight mute & a Harmon. The cup had to be separated to fit, but both parts can be stored inside. There is also a space in that pocket for mouthpieces and two zipper sections which will be handy for keeping her tuck shop money in!Time will tell how it stands up to being dragged to orchestra and school each week but the handles seem strong there is a carrying strap & a handle and he sticking on the handle looks strong & zippers run freely.I am sure if you are a professional player & need a case which will last a life time there are probably better ones out there, but if you are looking for a good bag that fits all and is a good price this one is it.

Love this bag. My 10 year old daughter is able to carry it on her bag no problems. It has a good amount of storage as well.

This is a really nice bag for your regular trumpet, pocket trumpet or cornet. It offers decent protection, with good padding for your horn (it's a gig bag, not a hard case). And the horn compartment padding is stiff and thick enough. The shoulder strap is adjustable and pretty sturdy. And the backpack straps are a great feature and store out of the way without getting in the way. You CAN carry three mutes, depending on the mutes sizes. I carry a bubble, practice, and sometimes straight mutes without any problems. There are zippered pockets for mouthpieces and other small supplies, and pen/pencil holders. The other side pocket will hold music and/or books. There is also a handle for carrying vertically. This is a great case at a reasonable price, and with the reliable ProTec quality. I highly recommend it to trumpeters of all levels.

My son showed up from school with ridiculous hard shell trumpet case that was literally taped together at places and practically had to be "hugged" to keep from flopping open while being carried. No good for a mile walk to school.We tried one of the less expensive trumpet cases on Amazon but it just didn't meet the requirements. It was a touch too small, so the instrument was pressing at the seams and the zipper looked strained. The cushioning was minimal. It was just really awful.This Protec is exactly the opposite!It's big enough with just enough room that the trumpet's fit is comfortable without the bag being too big for a 12 year old to carry around. The padding is "just about right" -- I can guess that a kid can be pretty tough on his equipment and this is obviously no hard shell, but after a few months of use it seems up to the task.He loves that it can be carried slung across his torso (so also while wearing a backpack), or it can be worn backpack style, or carried like a suitcase, or worn over the shoulder like a messenger bag.It has pockets big enough for his sheet music and notebook, his chapstick, the mouthpiece, and whatever other little doodads he carries as trumpet accessories.Grade A+ piece of trumpet carrying luggage we got here.

This seems to be a pretty well made case. The padding is thick and the lining is soft. The fit for my trumpet it tight enough to feel secure but not overly tight. I like the music pocket. I can fit my iPad Air in this pocket with room to spare. I do wish the other pocket was a bit larger for more comfortable mute storage (the picture is misleading.) I can fit a practice mute ok, but any more than that would be tight. I like the vertical (subway) carry strap. The clips for the straps are questionable. This is a great in-town case, but I wouldn't travel with it if there's a chance other luggage could be stacked on it.
