This case is big enough for the trumpet and small essentials like oil and mouthpiece. But it weighs 1kg less than a woodshell case (with mute space) and fits well around many types of Bb and C trumpet, possibly more. Stronger than it looks. Latches shut tight the aluminium interlocking rim. Stackable box design has extra rubber feet on the side and stands on either end as well. There are 2 D rings for a shoulder strap option (not included).

Great case, but nothing else will fit besides the trumpet and maybe a few cleaning supplies. My son uses it for school, no room for book or now in marching season no room for flip book. A bit of a pain to have to carry something else for storage. But it is a well built case.

It was given as a gift. However he said he loved it and everything fit perfect. I thought the inside was very plush and the outside looked well constructed and in good taste.

This is the perfect compact case. Key word is compact. Not much storage room inside. Great design. Trumpets, of 2 brands I tried, fit perfect, as if case is made for them. No movement. Case is very durable looking. Hard plastic. Good latches instead of suitcase style ones. Lining is thick. D-rings on the ends for attaching a shoulder strap (also available and recommended). Just what I wanted and expected.
