My son inherited his father’s trumpet, but the case was bulky and heavy. We ordered this one & it’s an absolute gem! The backpack straps are fantastic and the case is as lightweight as it gets while also keeping the instrument snugly protected.

Case should be about 1.5 to 2 inch. In length. I had to modify the inner liner to get the Trumpet lead tub to fit so I could close and zip the lid close.

It is great for my 10 year old to carry yo and from school. We fit the mute, mouthpiece spray, and music. Everything but the stand. He can easily switch between backpack and shoulder strap. He loves it.
