Just like there is a black hole in the washing machine for missing socks, there is a similar black hole or extra-dimensional pocket that power cords manage to disappear into periodically. So I have purchased these cords as extras in order to be able to actually use my wonderful Presto appliances until the dimensional pocket spits out the original cords again :)We provide free meals at a non-profit coffeehouse that we coordinate and we use two of the 16" skillets and two of the 10 quart multi kettles, so I have picked up an extra cord for each appliance. No more frustration over not being able to use the needed appliance due to a temporarily misplaced cord.

We have a old Regal griddle that we have been using for years. The controller was showing signs of wearing out. We checked Amazon and sure enough there was exactly what we needed. Now it's good for another 40 years!
