My griddle was no longer heating properly. I was not certain if this would be the correct Unit for my griddle. The model number of my griddle has more digits on it then this controller. To make sure it was working properly and made a batch of pancakes turned my griddle on to 350 which is the perfect temperature for pancakes they turned out perfect! The pancake test is how I knew my old griddle was not functioning properly.

I have a 10 year old Presto steam cooker that initially came with the two-piece (magnetic) power control. This one-piece unit works as a perfect replacement.

The original temperature control knob for my griddle broke and this was a perfect replacement. The thought of having to buy a new one so soon sickened me. I am so grateful that they sell just the temp control. It works great and evenly heats my griddle. I highly recommend this product for anyone who finds themselves with a great griddle but no way to use it.
