The manual that comes with the sandwich cooker is difficult to follow. I can't figure out how to get the plates hot enough to cook a proper steak, for example. If I hit the steak button, it defaults to a certain temperature and nothing will budge it from there. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but can't figure it out so far.

Seems to be well built. Makes good burgers. Cleans up easily. I'm disappointed, though, that it is described as a "griddle." It's not. It does not come with, nor do I see an option for flat griddle plates.

We have had this grill for a year. My wife does carnivore diet and I mostly eat meat as well. We have used the holy crap out this thing sometimes it gets used twice a day even. Clean up is easy. The plates have become a little discolored as a result of the daily use but still work fine. The food cooked on this thing tastes great. The automatic cook function on this thing is spot on for most things it's amazing really like magic. It will cook a inch plus thick 1.5lb ribeye in approximately 6 minutes. Hamburger's 1/3lb x6 in 4 minutes. Lay it flat cook twice as much but cook time will be extended and turning required. I have used it for panini's and it was awesome at that to. 4 stars instead of 5 as nothing in life is perfect.

Seemed ok but the title was misleading - its not an iron grill but coated aluminum. Trying to get away from aluminum for health issues so this was not for me. (hopefully they will clear up the misleading title of this product.

Very nice product. If it came with some recipe ideas or more information on how long to cook things that would be the only thing I would suggest.

No conversion to Fahrenheit even though the q&a said it did, but you have to convert it yourself. There is no switch to change the temp setting . I read “not for US market ,” and that is true. Falsely advertised. Never used.

This is a quality, well made appliance. The top and bottom grates, which are interchangeable, both heat equally. The controls are way more than just a basic temperature control. Example, when cooking burgers, it will tell you when they are rare, medium, or well done. How it knows, I don't know, but it works flawlessly. Same for steaks. For chicken, which must always be well done, it properly signals when its done without drying out the meat. It has a manual setting, too. The grease catch pan is well designed, and works well with the removable grates- the top grate will also drip into that pan when the lid is raised. I could not be happier!!!!
