This thing is great. I get home plug it put 3 tortillas in there put cheese on the tortilla fold the tortilla close the top and about 2 minutes later quesadillas are perfect on both sides.

Wasn't expecting this to work nearly as well as it has for the low cost. I bought it for my food truck to grill burritos, where it performs well. But I've discovered it makes FANTASTIC grilled cheese sandwiches, particularly when using sourdough as it tends to squash white bread unless I manually control the top plate "hover" distance. Both the top and bottom plates seem to heat up equally and it takes about sixty seconds to grill the bread perfectly. Cleanup is also a breeze.The one and only downside is that there's no on/off switch. To turn it on you plug it in, to turn it off you unplug it, which really sucks. But at $36 it's hard to complain.

Won't heat the inside of the sandwich and will burn the outside.
