First one arrived broken. That was immediately replaced but the 2nd one quit working a month after receiving it.Seller refunded 2nd one without asking. Great customer service.

Based on the large cooking surface I wanted to like this. However, the griddle is made of thin enough metal that it actually sags a bit in the middle, which prevented the bacon grease from running out the handy little spout in one end. That thin metal also made it difficult to maintain temperature control and prevent hot spots.The controller has simple 1, 2, 3, 4 settings rather than a temperature. It means you have to guess how hot the cooking surface will be. In our case, between levels 1 and 2 was too hot to cook bacon or a hamburger patty.To clean the surface, your only option is to wipe off the surface because unlike traditional griddles and electric skillets, this unit is just a metal plate with the heater attached to the bottom almost as an afterthought. Thanks to this, the unit is NOT immersible.Short answer, not the greatest griddle, I recommend looking for a different product.

Will be returning. Item is large. Directions on how to put together are not easy to understand. Definitely need two people to put together. Not worth the money or the headache.
