We got this electric raclette grill for our family gatherings, and it’s been such a hit! The 8 warming trays and the reversible grill plate are super handy for cooking different foods all at once.Setup is a breeze, and it's perfect for a tabletop BBQ. The grill heats up quickly and cooks everything evenly. I love that we can use it both for grilling meats and melting cheese. It's definitely added some fun and variety to our meals.The price is pretty reasonable considering all the features you get. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it could be a bit easier to clean. Some parts are a little tricky to get spotless.Overall, it’s a great value for the price and has made our family gatherings even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to spice up their meals with a raclette party!

Very creative way of preparing and presenting dinner in a smaller foot print.This will be useful at family gatheringsThe smaller, individual trays will be great at parties for young people.Metal surfaces are well finished with no sharp edges.Coatings are even color on surfaces.

i am not a fan of this. it is flimsy and not what I would call safe to use in the house it is on the bigger side so not easy to put out and cook on. Just not in my opinion good for indoor use. would only recommend for outside use.

To be honest, I had not a clue what a Raclette Grill was. I just thought it was a brand name. I got it primarily as a regular griddle. I was stumped as to why it did not seem to heat as hot as I thought it was supposed to and how long some items took to cook. Then I began learning a bit about this particular way of cooking. I believe the primary feature of this grill is for entertainment like fondue parties used to be. That's a wonderful idea! Unfortunately, I am much older now and live alone and no people come for dinner. So I do not fully utilize, by a long shot, what this grill could once have brought to my life. I primarily break it out for pancakes and fried eggs and it works just fine. I wish I could have experienced one of these 30 years ago. it is well made and what I do cook on it slides right off. For as much as it costs though, it's pretty expensive for a pancake griddle!

My mother used to talk about raclette dinners with friends when she & my dad lived overseas. I had never heard of it so I was somewhat disinterested. I saw this raclette grill online & began researching how to use it. It reminds me of a fondue party because it comes with 8 small pans that can be placed beneath the grill to warm cheeses. Each person can have their own cheese (awesome)! On the grill, you can cook sausage slices, shrimp, potatoes, vegetables, etc to eat with the cheese. This sounds like such a fun idea! It reminds me of fondue but we can cook the meats & veggies at one time on the grill instead of everyone having to cook each individual piece like fondue.My sisters & I plan to surprise my mom with a full raclette dinner for her birthday in a couple of weeks followed by an evening of games. I think she will truly love it. So far, I have cooked a couple of items on the grill just to test it out & I melted some gruyere cheese in one of the little pans with some herbs. It worked very well. I can't wait to have our "girls' night" get together. I will update the review with more pictures after our party!

Very nostalgic for me! This product works exactly as intended, as raclette cheese is a bit hard to come by stateside I've tried a number of different cheeses, all worked out well, with varying degrees of success. The heat level is perfect on this machine, it's a lot of fun to use and can make for an entertaining and enjoyable experience for you and guests, it's very easy to clean and compared to similar models is a great value for the money as most that I have checked are more expensive than this one is. I certainly recommend it.

I got these so I could melt the Swiss cheese and have a fondu style dinner. It's really big cooking surface and has a lot of trays to melt cheese and other things. There are 8 individuals trays. It's easy to assemble and easy to clean, however, there are a lot of parts to clean. It heats up fast and holds heat well. It's really a fun product and we use it more for a novelty Friday night dinner party experience.

I received this item for free from Vine. I’ve been wanting a raclette grill for years and was super excited to see this on Vine. This is a nice one - most models don’t get hot enough for the cheese to brown in the pans below the grill. This one does. I also like that you can complete remove the grill/griddle plate for easy cleaning. I used this for a New Year’s party and everyone had so much fun cooking and mixing and matching the meats, veggies, sauces/compound butters, and cheeses.This also has so many different applications for different parties - you could have your guests make burger sliders and use the pans to melt cheeses and topping, or you could use the griddle side to have a make your own breakfast party with crepes, pancakes, eggs, omelettes, and use the pans for veggies cheese, or toppings.Just be sure to get some wooden, silicone, or plastic tongs/utensils cuz the surface is nonstick. Also I wouldn’t put any of it in the dishwasher - the heat from the dry cycle and quite a few of the detergents aren’t good for nonstick and you may ruin the grill top.
