Great kit worked as it says. Only error was me! tilt of router creating tear out and the soft pine wood didn't help. First first 3 ever inlays on work bench top. These were cut in to get rid of checked knot holes. Good buy

So many other sellers don't include the centering pin.For this reason alone it gets a 5 star

Does the job perfectly, at a perfect price compared to other companies, I hope that the quality will not suffer over the years of use

UPDATE: this unit is going back. I reduced my rating down to 1.After trying out a couple of other attempts to cut inlays, I realized this will not work. I remeasured the dimensions. The compression router bit diameter is 0.247" - this is close enough to the 0.25" it's supposed to be. Besides the router bit dimension doesn't really matter that much for this work. The inner bushing diameter is 0.381". Again this is not critical as it simply needs to be minimally larger than bit. The issue is the outer ring. Its diameter is 0.866". Meaning that the difference between the inner and outer bushing diameter is 0.485". This needs to be exactly 0.500" (i.e., 2x the diameter of the bit). Because of this every time you cut an inlay, it's 0.015" smaller (that's about 0.4"). So, none of my pieces fit.I am new to inlay and template cutting so I didn’t want to spend oodles of money getting a bushing set and high end router bits. This set is OK and functional and will serve as a training ground for me to learn. This unit has some issues that I want to point out.1) the secondary ring that goes on the inner bushing is slightly undersized. This causes the inlay cut to be slightly undersized. I had do a fair bit of sanding with fine sandpaper to get my inlay to fit.2) second problem with the outer ring is that it’s way too tight. It’s nearly impossible to remove it with mere mortal hands. I had to use hard plastic automotive panel removal tool to get it off. Of course I didn’t use a flat head screwdriver because it would have damaged the brass bushing.3) the bit is OK but it’s not as good and sharp. It had trouble cutting smoothly even on an MDF.So in short, this is a good practice piece but I am sure I’ll buy a more reputable brand (and drink heavily afterwards because, you know, the cost).

This set fits my router base well, the center bushing removes so you ca uese the same bit and template to make both the inlay and the cavity, I did have some issues with the adapter loosening while being used, but it does use common threads and willl work with my Bosch quick change also. I am showing it in my ridgid trim router.
