I used this product to trim Palm trees. The extensions are short to aid in portability. Each connection point introduces flex. The flex at greater heights renders it unsafe and unusable. You will however , provide entertainment for your neighbors. I would recommend buying just the saw head and mating it with a long concrete float pole as the sections are more rigid and are of greater length. The attachment points have tighter tolerances and introduces less flex. If you go this route beware of power lines.

I’m used to STIHL and silky for professional use. Sold it all along time ago, needed another one. Gave this a try for the price difference and it got everything I needed done. Up to 4 poles on it. It did look weak at the threads once I got 20ish feet on it, I can’t imagine running all 6 poles but maybe…Not quite the quality of the 400$ poles obviously, but for 10-15ft trimming it’s great. 20ft and up it might be a matter of time until it breaks unless you want to reinforce the connections.

The pole saw came with more extenders than you will ever need. Tye saw is very sharp and sturdy. I have used pole saws before and this was is very comparable to craftsman and other brands. I love that i can screw on as many extenders as i need. The cutter aspect of the saw package is useful. It has 7 pole extensions, one piece with the saw on a shorter pole, the cutter with long string, and extra saw blade and the bag to carry and store your tool. It’s very safe and easy to use as long as your arms can saw up and down. I would recommend this pole saw anyone looking for a great product that is sturdy and adjustable for a reasonable price.

The saw and pruner work great. All of the threaded ends connect smoothly and are well made. Both of the saws are very sharp, with aggressive teeth. I think I will get years of use out of this tool. The limitations are: 1) The pruner will work without issue on branches up to about 3/4", then I had to hold pressure on the rope and move the device back and forth, and then it was able to complete the cut.2) Using all of the extension sections (for the full 26.1'), made sawing limbs difficult. Applying pressure to the pole and moving back and forth, created a bow to the pole on the upstroke and a bit of a bounce on the downstroke. It continued to the point that the saw blade bounced out of the cut line. I do not intend to use the saw at that length again; at 15-20', this saw works like a dream. Highly recommended.

Saw is very sharp. Pole is sturdy. Scissors work on 1.5" dia. branches (per my experience... Your mileage may vary). Nice, rugged carrying case. No surprises here - it does what it promises. With that said, be aware that at full extension (7 pole sections) it is heavy and unwieldy. It might need two people. Also, at 5+ pole sections putting leverage against a branch is hard, especially if the branch is flexible. I didn't subtract stars because that's not the fault of this product. Sure, they could make the pole stiffer, but then it would be nearly impossible for a normal human to lift it to full extension. Just temper your expectations about cutting thick, very high limbs. Also use safety glasses and consider a hard hat. From a practical standpoint, you'll be cutting high limbs at (very nearly) directly over your head and they have to fall somewhere.

I dont always like to use my electric pole saw for taking down tree limbs. This manual pole saw is easier to get in-between other branches or in portions of the tree that are just too tight to get an electric pole saw too. Plus, it's longer them my electric saw allowing me to get even higher branches down when need be. I really like the way the saw breaks down for storage ( also much smaller then my pole saw.) and stores on it's own case. The curved blade is very efficient and cutting in a downward pull motion. The saw came with an extra blade. Because the blades are so sharp, I did make cardboard sheaths that cover the blades when in storage. Otherwise, I could see the blade easily and accidentally cutting a hole in it's storage bag. I would recommend this saw to any property owner that has trees on their property. Its a good solid, quality tool, that if taken care of, will last a lifetime. Recommended for do-it-yourselfers and professional landscapers alike.

For the price it worked good. The blade was sharp and could easily cut 4" branches. The fact the poles are 3 feet when you screw 5 or more together it gets pretty flimsy so I would prefer 6 foot sections. Not for professional everyday use but then again the price reflects that.
