We were helping with a neighbor's yard who is incapacitated. We were busily trimming back some bushes. A neighbor stopped us and said, "That is so cool! I want to try it."They started working with it (and didn't want to give it back) and had great things to say about it.I will have to send them the link.It's DeWalt ready which is perfect because that's the batteries we have most of around here. It does come with some as well.It's a good package deal.

Its easy to operate and lightweight for simple wood cutting at home. It comes with battery and extra chain along with safety items gloves and glasses. It comes with a case but very tricky to put it back together. Its small size makes it perfect to take on camping trips for wood cutting. Its really easy to use for beginners that are afraid of bigger chainsaws.

I was impressed at how great this works for trimming trees and even my bamboo. Anytime we do yard work and tree trimming my husband grabs this saw now instead of our big gas one. This one is much easier and cuts nice size limbs. I love it comes with 2 batteries and a nice carrying case. Great value for the money and saves a lot of hassle that a gas one brings.

I was a little skeptical about this product right out of the gate. I had no idea what to expect with a battery operated "power" tool like this. I have been nothing but impressed however with this mini chainsaw. The storage box that it came in is a little on the flimsy side but I have this in a canvas bag with the extra battery and carry it in my atv so the box is just in my garage cabinet. The charger fully charges the batteries quickly and works like a charm cutting smaller limbs and branches. It actually cuts through some larger ones pretty easily but I definitely don't want to overdo it and break it because I really like it for it's mobility and versatility. I have seen other brands with similar quality tools at the big box hardware stores that cost two to three times what this one does. I definitely would not hesitate to buy this again and again instead of spending more on a brand name.

I have several large trees that shed a lot of limbs all year long ( nothing over 3 or 4 inches in diameter). This little chainsaw is quite powerful despite the deceptively small size. I could see it being used as a hobby chainsaw, carving wood, ice carving, etc. it more than exceeded my expectations.It arrives very neatly packaged, suitable for gift giving. The batteries both charged within two hours. My little cleanup job took about an hour and a half and I did not deplete the 1st battery. The chainsaw comes in a nice hard carry case, has gloves and glasses as safety bonuses. It comes with the battery charger, and two batteries. It also has a spare chain.The trigger has a built in safety switch that has to be disengaged in order for the chainsaw to turn. There is a sturdy hand guard and so long as you don't try to do what this 6 inch mini chainsaw / garden prunner wasn't designed for, you should be happy with this little workhorse.Solid 5 stars

This cordless mini chainsaw is perfect for pruning small branches. It's lightweight and easy to use. It's also rather quiet. I think it's the quietest power tool that I own! I would suggest using it on branches up to about 1+ inches in diameter. It's a big time saver over using hand loppers or a hand saw to prune thick branches. It's more fun and satisfying to use it too!You get a plastic storage box, 2 rechargeable batteries, a wall charger, a pair of gloves, clear eyeglasses, a screwdriver and a users manual. Much to my delight, the chainsaw came fully assembled with one of the chains already installed. You will have to charge the battery and oil the chain with your own oil prior to using it. The manual says to charge the batteries every 3 months if you are not using the chainsaw. The entire saw is short, so it is near your body when you use it. The chips go flying when cutting. Please wear safety glasses and protective clothing when using this (or any) chainsaw.

This Cordless Mini Chainsaw 6-inch with 2 Batteries is a game changer for brush clearing, minor limb clean-up, tree trimming, and just about anything else made of wood that isn't too large for its size. Having two batteries is a plus. The charger replenishes the battery quickly, so if you have a lot of stuff to cut, this saw will keep you in the groove.It does have limitations, so I don't think you'll be able to cut a rick's worth of 6" fire logs. It would be better to use a beefier saw for that. Beyond cutting brush and small limbs, you can also use it to cut some lumber. My husband and I used it to cut some 4x6 posts and 2x4s for a wooden fence.I don't like that you must lubricate the chain manually since there is no onboard oil reservoir. When using it, you'll need to get an oil can and frequently squirt a small amount on the bar and chain. I also don't like the flimsy latches on the case. And speaking of the case, you must be a "tool case packing specialist" to get it all back in and closed properly.Conclusion: Overall, this is a handy tool that can, in most cases, save you some time while offering convenience, especially for smaller tasks. While it didn't exceed our expectations, it did meet them, which earned it a four-star rating. Fix the things mentioned, and I would give it five stars, especially when considering the price. Is it for the professional landscaper? Definitely not. But for the occasional user, it's a great tool to have. P.S.—We keep it in our RV for when we go camping. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading!
