This is advertised as a GEL battery and it is a LEAD ACID battery which are cheaper and do not last as long. Charges for GEL battery price. False misleading advertisement

see the photo .....this with less than 8 months useSeller sends me to Amazon, Amazon sends me to seller .... no help. UPDATE4-30-24 Parmak contacted me and is making this good.Parmak is a class act as far as customer service and equipment.Pricey but worth it.

This works great and was a replacement and very easy to install. We use it for an electric fence around the garden. Not only does it keep the wildlife out of the vegetable garden but it shocked the neighbor good when he attempted to steal some corn! I bet he won’t be sneaking around anymore! 😉✌️😂

My battery for my Parmak Magnum Solar fencer lasted 3 years of continuous use, here in the strong New Mexico sun. When it started reading inconsistently and then finally did not register a charge (see photo). I knew it was time to replace the battery - you just pull the top lid off the fencer, disconnect/connect the leads, and you are done! I also noted that I could spin the lid 180 degrees, so that the solar collector is on the opposite side of the front panel controls, which is very useful to me in one area of my fence due to the sun angle.I have used Parmak solar fencers for 12 years in multiple locations - they are strong and really last!
