As far as sockets go, it got the job done. Loosened and tightened my spark plugs. However, the magnet (whole reason I chose this socket specifically) did not work for me. I ended up having to buy a magnet separately to pull the spark plugs out of the cylinder.

I bought this to remove spark plugs in my Mercury Outboard boat motor. They had a very deep well to remove the plugs from so was concerned about pulling them out of there. The magnet on this socket is very strong and pulled the plugs out no problem. The thin wall was nice as well to be sure didn't have any issues with not fitting in well. Would recommend this product.

Own a 2017 Honda Accord, that uses extra long plugs, deep well sockets are useless. Works for NGK Ruthenium LKAR7AHX-S. Tried this Socket and not only is it long enough, but it appears there is a big enough clearance thru hole for any plug's tip and ceramic. Magnet is sufficient to get the plug out of deep recesses, if pushed all the way down to the base of the spark plug hex. Only concern is walls are extremely thin on this socket, and a tough plug to remove, I hope, will not split the wall., maybe .030" thin at thinnest points of 12 point socket.Pictures may help you determine if this is the right tool for you. Okay, order this spark plug 14mm socket for my R60 MINI Cooper Countryman. Since there was not a lot of information on this socket or fit, I took some detail pictures in hopes of making it easier for other MINI owners to make their purchasing decisions. The socket is as described a thin walled socket for BMW and MINI. There is a strong magnetic ring inside the socket to grip and hold the plug. The square hole that allows the drive gear has a slot for the metal ball to hold it in place and provides a secure fit. I’m using NGK spark plugs for my MINI. As you can see from the image, the plug fits into the socket sung without gaps. I still have to install my plugs so that is the big test.Hope these images will be helpful for others.

Started a tune up on my wife's 2015 BMW 335 (N55 Engine) Friday night only to discover none of my spark plug sockets fit. Took a closer look at the new plugs and they look like nothing I've ever seen. Started looking around to see what I could get before Monday and came across this with 2 day shipping with reviews saying it worked on BMWs. Had it in my hands Sunday afternoon so the car was ready to go for Monday.It worked perfect for the job and the price is right. Since it has a magnet to hold the plugs in place I decided to keep it inside the bag it came in to keep the magnet from getting dirty.

Fantastic thin walled spark plug socket.The finish is as-pictured and an odd tool to need, but when you need one, nothing else will get the job done.As you can see in the video. The thin walled Panovo 14mm is about 1.5 or 1.6 mm thinner than my 14mm 12 pt socket. The Panovo is 18mm and the regular socket is about 19.6mm or so.This difference is what gets it down in the S63tu year to reach the iridium plug that’s way down deep in there.Fast shipping from the seller and great packaging. A little tough to unwrap from the plastic, but that’s the cost of good packaging right?
