Very easy to use, and I trust the feeler gages are fairly accurate since my car is back to running real smooth and responsive.

This made gapping and checking gap on plugs so easy. This would be good for someone who has never gapped a plug In their life. That is how easy this is to use. If you are on the fence, don't be. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

The obvious big advantage of this tool is the ease of which you can close the spark plug gap if that is the direction you need to go. You justhave to be aware that the electride might spring back a little after the first adjustment and require a second or third attempt. At any rate, it is much easier to use this tool to make a couple small adjustments than the "old school mechanic" way of tapping the ground electrode on something solid and more often than not, closing the gap too much.

The gap tool works well and is very easy to use. The threads on the screw worked smoothly. The gauges appear to be good quality but I have no way to know if they are accurate. They gauges came oiled which is good because if not oiled this type of gauge will rust rapidly due to moisture in the air and from handling.I would recommend this item.

A lot of re bending and re opening procedure will be tide to spark plug gapping.Knowing the spark plug replacement doesn't take please as often. When it does, it is frustrating as the gap is too tight or too loose. This tool is nice. Yet, the spark plug tip tends to flex under pressure. So keeping the feeler gauge in while applying the pressure doesn't make any good. "Or at least for the spark plug I worked on, which was 16mm motorcraft".You have to feel how much pressure needed to get the gap right. Not a complex job but you can establish the idea after the first round. It is a lot easier from banging the spark plug tip or apply a pressure on a piece of ply wood. The good side is if the tip needs opened, utilize the edge of the moving piece. See picture.I gave it 4 stars because squeezing of the spark plug while keeping the feeler gauge in wasn't accurate.. at least for this one job.
