I'm not overly impressed with this sparkplug gapping tool. It works great but only on specific size plugs. It does work on them great and is good quality. I like the feeler guages too.

Great spark plug gap kit that comes complete with a feeler gauge. Spark plug sits nicely in the holder and is secure. Easy to find tune the gap and has space for the feeler gauge to fit with no obstructions. Great for those new to working on cars.

I have always just tapped on the spark plugs with whatever I had handy, a hammer, wrench, socket, whatever I could easily lay hands on. But sometimes I would tap a little too hard and then have to open the gap a little, and that can be hard sometimes, especially with the newer spark plugs that can easily be harmed in the critical spark area. This tool gives you much better control over the gap and you can sneak up on it without going overboard. Of course, if you end up with too small a gap you still have to adjust it somehow, and this tool won't help you with that. The feeler gauge set is fair, with it's barely visible thickness sizes and lots of oil, make sure you have a paper towel handy when opening it.
