This storage rail system is a lifesaver for organizing! It’s sturdy and holds totes securely, freeing up so much floor space in the garage. Installation was straightforward, and it feels super heavy-duty. Perfect for decluttering!

I using these with four 17-gallon bins. I am impressed with the sturdiness of heavy gauge metal. If you're mounting to wood you will need lag bolts. I like 1/4 GRK Lag wood screws. Length will depend if you need to pass through drywall or not. My mounting was in the basement so 1 1/2 works for me.The system is a base rail that is basically super 14 gauge half-slotted strutrut U channel once that is mounted you assemble the track that the boxes sit on. It's a wide flat rail and box frame bar. There are these square nuts that you slide in the U channel (note if you can't find them they are hidden in box frame wrapped up in plastic one set per box frame rail. One issue the mounting base rail (part C) is 48" Most floor joist and ceiling joist are 16" on center so your only going to be able to hit 3 joist and the ends are floating. If the rail was 64" the mounting would hit 4 joist and be more secure. If you have access to framing you could put a cross brace (bridging stud) and just screw into them. If your keeping it light Its none issue.I have no doubt these can hold 310 pounds. Use good hardware and sturdy bins with strong lips if you're pushing the weight up to the limit. Also assemble the rails on the ground with the box you plan to use so you can confirm spacing you want before your drill or screw anything.Note if you lose a slider washer like I did you can use 1/4 strut nut you will have to swap out the bolt also because they use metric but 1/4" threaded rod or 1/4 bolt of the right length will work.
