Can't lift 200 pounds let alone 300. It broke twice...the pin broke first then the nut stripped. No response from company so no warranty I was on my own to fixit fortunately I have the tools and knowledge to do so

Almost a MAJOR accident. Glad no one got hurt! The instructions are really bad and missing important things. The quality isn't great. The crank portion of the mechanism is ground down by hand, and mine was so destroyed that you couldn't use the included nut. The unit, after being installed, ripped out of the wall. I only had 180-200 pounds (well under the 300lb max). Thankfully no one was under it when the entire thing fell from the ceiling!I'm including a picture of where it came off the wall. I followed the instructions, making sure everything was on the same plane, everything aligned, used the wood and bolts it required. I did nothing wrong, but as you can see, the bolts tore out of the wall taking wood and drywall with it. After looking at the hole, it's clear that my bolts went directly in the center and the wood was dry and solid.I honestly don't think I did anything wrong, but this thing came apart. I'll be returning this thing immediately and hope people read this before buying this dangerous trash!!

Bad idea , 1 ladder and 2 golf push cart in a 3 x 5 platform ..use bolts and nut on all the pullys on a metal frame , braided cables ,3 inch bolts to studs and it still rip of the forward tension pulley..I almost died.. if you take this on you will have to build a like afull A-frame for it, good luck

Pulleys and hardware are strong but the machined screws they include couldn’t hold a balloon on the wall. Completely inadequate to the support the weight of anything but overall a good product.
