Bought 2. Both installed and being used. Very sturdy. Installed on my own but I would recommend using two people when hanging the base to the ceiling attachment.

I appreciated the minimization of the numbers of different TYPES of nuts and bolts. The instructions are almost unnecessary. Installation was a sweaty but straightforward process, probably 2 hours in our case because we had to add a stud for hanging between two joints, but it worked, and the installation is sturdy and adjustable.

As expected nothing is ever easy. Before you order check your boost spacing. Had to frame in extra farming so that it would Align with the brackets. Overall product is good.is it worth $100...not really it should be about $80.

I was very happy with these. They are sturdy and fit very well in the garage. I bought this and it was solid and helped clean up the garage tremendously. It takes a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it and the right tools, it's pretty easy to assemble and install (i'm not a handy man). The 3x6 shelf can be raised on your own, the wire part is the heaviest piece but this one is manageable with some bungee cords and will power

I wanted to install overhead storage in my garage to free up some ground space, but the garage door opener track made it hard to buy the 8x4 ft rack. Fleximounts sells a 6x4 ft which is perfect. I bought 2.Installing them has easy despite some challenges. My ceiling has joists 2ft apart running perpendicular to the garage opener track. If I wanted to position the racks the way I wanted to, I had to install the brackets parallel to the garage opener track and perpendicular to the joists. There was also the door to the attic that had a frame around it that was in the way of mounting a bracket on the joist. I didn't want to cut it so I move that 1 bracket over. The brackets are long so it gives you more flexibility to install them to fit whatever spacing you have. The racks are durable and well constructed. The grated shelves are sturdy. And the price was very low. There's enough storage space that it freed up my garage floor. They look great and I highly recommend these.

This is a nice product. Very well made and designed. Even the packaging was excellent. It does take some time to install it properly, but definitely worth it. Instructions are good and the hardware seemed to be of good quality. I used my own tools and thankfully, no hardware snapped on me installing it. I did use my own washers on the lag screws however, as well as blue lock tight fastening the screens together. The rest of the hardware had lock nuts. There was a slight wobble to it, but I fixed that by blocking the rear with some 2x6 boards I had and fastening one side to them using 2 lag screws. All in all this is a great storage solution for those looking to increase their storage areas.

This helped maximize our garage with letting us store our things off the floor and utilized the overhang space. It was a little tricky hanging it as I did it all by myself, but with a second person this will surely be a quick and easy solution! It holds great and doesn't show any bowing or bending!

This storage rack is great if you have a small space you need to carve out in your garage. Perfect in my garage. You must have impact tools to drive screws into studs plus patience when putting together. Once assembled, it’s well worth it!

Bought this for my garage. Christmas and Halloween decorations storage instead of laying on the floor. The installation was easy (because i'm a DIY handyman.. otherwise, make sure you mount this properly in the studs or trusses). The bracket requires you to install about 1/2" from a wall so it may be a bit wiggeling. I added a 1x3 behind the tracks and it did the trick just fine.I would recommend this to anyone wanting that extra wasting space above your head!

This is the 2nd garage rack i put up myself with minimal help. First was a new age. Superficially they resemble each other but i think the fleximount is much better and easier to put up even if it costs a few dollars more. The brackets on fleximount are large and can span two joists. The key to putting these racks is getting the lag screws into studs. Its quite difficult finding studs while perched on a ladder. I bought 3 different stud finders including some expensive ones like franklin one. But none are perfect. Maybe best is the cheap magnet one. If you miss the stud you can move over a hole on fleximount and you can try it again. On a small bracket you have to move everything and pray you're going to get lucky. Spacing out the brackets 4 feet apart isnt too bad but if you mismeasure, you can adjust the vertical hanging bracket without moving the ceiling mount. Just move the vertical bracket over one or two holes and youll be fine. You still have to space the other brackets 6 feet away or 8 feet away depending on your rack. That isnt easiest measuring a distance on the ceiling. But at least you can get the width done without too much trial and error.I have two criticisms. The instructions are too basic. One key point is getting the hanging vertical bracket that the rack fits into properly oriented. There is a bottom piece of the vertical hanging bracket that the rack fits into, You need to pay attention to the small diagram to get the orientation right or the rack wont fit. They should magnify that diagram. The rack itself is 3 or 4 sections screwed together which means you put it down as one large piece but it is too heavy for one person at that point. You will need two people to lift and fit the rack on to he hanging bracket while climbing two ladders simultaneously. At least thats what i did. Other brand designs would allow you to put one section at a time so theoretically you could do it yourself. All in all i did this fleximount rack in 1/4 amount of time that i spent on a new age rack. I recommend this model even though you can find a cheaper brand. The hardware included was sturdy. Instructions were marginal. If you're nervous about trying to install yourself get the smaller 4x 6 feet model since its more forgiving in terms of measurement.
