I have 250 one watt LED glass lights on a string around my house and 150 feet up my driveway. this thing dims them perfectly (I have had other dimmers that "struggle" with LED lights) . You press the "100%" button, and they are full bright (when you need the light to do chores, etc) and you press the 25% button, and they instantly drop to "mood light" mode! . The photo eye works perfect, on at night, off in the day.BUT, the remote! The unit is outside plugged in on my porch. The remote is inside.... in the living room the remote works perfect, in the kitchen, in the upstairs bedroom. Seems wherever the remote is, it works, though walls, whatever!The case is waterproof and very well built! If you are looking for a good product, not some cheap junk this is it.

I made this purchase to dim my outdoor Christmas lights. I have not tested it on the 5 stands of LED white lights yet. IF there are issues I will update this review.Product arrived earlier than I expected and in great condition. I believe, if it dims my lights as expected, this will be great addition to my outdoor lighting!

Has been working fine for several months. Only gripe is it seems the light sensor needs it to be quite a bit darker than most sensors I've had before in order to turn on the lights in that mode.

I have 2 of these controlling 2 light strings and they work perfect. They only have one type of remote and it sets both dimmers the same. You can't have separate light strings set to different levels. However, they sometimes have an issue with a different dimmer that is used to set a different level on a third light string. When the third string is set to a different level, one or both types of dimmers, sometimes start acting erratically. They flash or won't respond. This doesn't happen very often, so I live with it. Something I like is that when it's turned on with the remote, it returns to the dimming level it was at when it was turned off, either with the remote or disconnected from commercial power. The only thing I wish it would do, is if it was ON when commercial power is turned off then on, it would return to ON. Sadly, it defaults to OFF and can only be turned on with the remote. Anyway, it works and I'm happy.

This is a really handy product for lighting our yard. The remote makes it very easy to use.It did stop working after about 5 months. I contacted at palawelltek@outlook.com, sent a copy of my amazon purchase information and they sent me a new one very promptly. No hassle and didn't have to return the old one. Great service.

I've been using this remote for approximately 6 weeks now for lights on my pergola. So far, so good. It was easy to install. I just plugged it into my waterproof outlet and plugged the patio lights into it and was done! The unit itself states it is waterproof but as a precaution I used electrical tape to waterproof the connection between the dimmer and my string lights. The remote works great & has preset dimmer ranges or you can use the + / - buttons for an infinite dimmer range. You can also set the timer function for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours run time. The timer is spot on & turns the lights off when it should. I have not used the dusk to dawn auto feature as yet. The only improvement I could suggest would be to make the timer function work with the auto on feature. From what I have read the auto on feature works with a photocell and bypasses any timer settings so it is simply on at dusk and off at dawn. I am very happy with this product and would purchase it again.

I ordered this dimmer to use on my back deck. I installed it and it worked several weeks until it just stopped working. I contacted Palawelltek by email and got a response the same day. They offered to send me a new remote to try and said that if I was still having a problem, they would send a replacement dimmer assembly. I sent them my shipping address and Amazon Order#. I received a new dimmer a few days later. The new dimmer fixed the problem. I was really impressed with the great customer service! The dimmer works great and has a lot of features. Including a light sensor that you can use to turn on the lights at dusk and off at daylight automatically. I would highly recommend this dimmer.
