I planted this as indicated for a pot and it didn't grow. My daughter asks EVER SINGLE DAY if it has grown yet.

Healthy rhizomes with visible growth on it to ensure it was alive. I have high hopes for these waterlilies in our earth pond

It’s been two weeks since getting three of these pink water lilies. Several leaves have already sprouted and reached the surface of the water on all three of them. The water level is only about six inches above the top of the tuber right now. As the water lilies mature I’ll gradually increase the water level.I previously tried growing a King Blue water lily but failed for some reason. Several leaves sprouted but the stems eventually rotted away at the base one by one until there were no leaves left. Seems that the bulb died. No roots ever grew.I’m hoping to have better luck this time.

A first it was not doing too well but with some sun and watching it everyday it is growing nicely in my pond. Do what the directions say!! Lily pads almost up to the surface! Can’t wait to see the flower!

'instructions' are WORTHLESS : "need a pot ... inches wide 10 to12 inches deep". HOW MANY inches wide (STUPID)?"Add water to a half of a pot. Add water and leave for a couple of days". HOW MUCH WATER, after the 1st "add" , (STUPID)?"Place the tuber (?) In the soil by slightly embedding it" How "slightly"? (STUPID)"Compress the dirt ..., then cover with topsoil." How much cover. (STUPID)?"Put fertilizer in for once in a month . Do. not put too much....." How much is TOO much? (STUPID)?WORST OF ALL THEY SEND NO CONTACT INFO., NO WAY TO CALL/ GET CLARIFICATION.
