Put these in the pond and they looked nice at first and then seemed to disappear or at least get smaller. Other plants I ordered are doing well.

***Highly recommend- fast and fresh delivery- insane growth- BEYOND worth the cost.***First of all, the water hyacinth’s blossoms are so stunning. Second of all, if you’re worried about their growth rate, don’t be. They both grow at such a rapid rate that I have had to compost SO MANY. The last photo, with the red circle and x, is a PILE I’m composting today- I have composted a bare minimum of five of those piles since purchasing this item because they are prolific growers and are taking over too much of the water for my needs. Last summer, we only had water lettuce and it was delightful but with the addition of the water hyacinths, the pond is clearer, prettier, and the koi and goldfish seem to much prefer the water hyacinth’s roots to the lettuce’s roots. Note that their roots both create essentially a mat that can slow the flow of water which, especially during hot weather, can lower oxygen levels for your fish. They arrive healthy, I rinsed them and put them in the pond, and within a month they had TAKEN OFF. The water hyacinth blossoms appeared late June and they last a few days so be sure to check daily and enjoy their splendor 🪻 For reference, I’m in Charlotte, NC and have a biofall set up 💖

I do not know how this nursery ships aquatic plants and has them arrive in such flawless condition but whatever magic they’re doing, I hope they keep it up. These arrived somewhat slower than I expected but the quality will keep me coming back again and again. There was even a third, baby sized, water lettuce in the package (yay free plants) and it is growing nicely. Please note that the browning on the leaf tips is because of their location (6 stories up on a balcony garden exposed to a fairly steady warm wind) and was not present when they arrived.

I received them and they were very healthy but small. I put them in my Kon, and they began to grow and multiply. After putting in plants food to help them strive, they’re wilting, turning yellow, and they’re dying. I will order them again because they were an excellent condition, but I don’t know if it’s the weather or the plant food that I put in that is making them decline

The plants arrived looking quite dismal - virtually no green, just a lot of yellow and brown. I put them in the water immediately upon arrival. I will update this in a few weeks, either up to 5 stars or down to 1 star.3-week update: The Hyacinth is doing pretty good, both have greened up almost completely and feel stronger. The Water Lettuce, well one is hanging in there but one did not work out.2-month update: the Hyacinth are taking over, they have grown and expanded like crazy! Around week 5, within a few nights it went from a single plant to have 4-5 offshoots and now there's a dozen from each. The one lettuce that made it has also finally started to expand into offshoots as well.

Al 4 pond plants died or fell apart within the first few days. Too small about the size of small p!ums! All we're bunched up in small plastic bag that broke leaves and damaged stalk. Waste of money. No photo to show how they looked as they broke up the skimmer got them. Will replace with locally purchased.

Most of the plants weren’t as big as I expected. That being said, they were pretty healthy despite the horrible packing job. I got several of them along with some water lettuce. They were just packed in a plastic bag, sucked as tight as they could get it, I’m guessing for cheaper shipping. There was no water or even soaked paper with it. I ordered 8 of these and 3 water lettuces and they all fit in my standard mailbox easily. The lettuce was wilted and looks close to death. Still waiting and hoping it makes it.UPDATE: The hyacinths are doing quite well. The water lettuce is not. It’s still alive somehow but it is quite stunted. I do not recommend the purchase of the lettuce.

This is my second season purchasing from this supplier. The plants are small but very healthy. The supplier informs the purchaser that the plants may appear in poor health when recieved but tells you how to revive them. Supplier also talks about how quickly these plants propogate. It takes a few weeks. By midsummer last year I was overstocked with water lettuce and the flowering bulb floating plants.Just be patient and allow plants to recover from shipping stress and you will be well rewarded. I'm on a budget and these pond plants are replaced each year . They do not overwinter in zone 6. I find these plants to be reasonably priced and healthier than what I have found at local suppliers which is why I purchased from the supplier again this year.
