About this item

  • IMPORTANT: DO NOT ORDER IF ITS TOO HOT!! Please note that during times of extreme weather, live plants will suffer due to extreme temperatures. During winter, do not order live plants when temperatures are expected to go below 20F at the lowest point during the day. During summer, avoid ordering plants when temperatures are above 100F. Additionally, these plants will get damaged if your region experiences strong cold winds.
  • You get 1 potted Water Poppy in a 2" pot. Just place in your pond and let it grow! Reproduces through runners
  • Plants serve as natural biofilters to your pond, helping clear the water naturally
  • Please note that some of these plant ships with trimmed roots as sometimes they tend to fall off during transit due to heat. In case roots fall off upon receiving them, just place them in your pond and give them couple of weeks so they can re-establish themselves. If you live in areas experiencing above 90 temperatures, please make sure these plants are retrieved as soon as possible as extreme heat could kill these plants while in a box. AL, FL, SC, TX, WI, LA

Alive and healthy aside from normal decomposition of a few leaves. Im very happy with it. It was bought and shipped in Michigan winter and once it was planted and trimmed it's been rooting everywhere and growing new shoots. From the looks of it there was no contamination of snails either. Can't wait to see it blossom! I

Once these take hold, they grow like weeds. I placed them in my 8 ft dia stock tank pond, and they took off. They seem to grow best about 6 in deep in the water, but they do almost as well at 20 in deep… In my experience, the shallow planting will produce flowers, but too much deeper, there is nothing to support the flowers, so they don’t bloom. They are damaged slightly from shipping, but they will recover well in a couple of weeks. Be sure to clean off any dead leaves, and repot them asap. I would not start out at 20 in deep, let them recover first, as deep planting will use alot of energy just to get to the surface. I’m very satisfied with the water poppies, recommend them to anyone with a pond.Rich…

I ordered this plant twice and both times it didn't do well, the few leaves it did have rotted off and no growth since. Notta. I have a lot of other aquatic plants, so I know what I'm doing. Disappointed! I didn't contact the seller because typically they want you to take a picture within 2 hours of receipt. Yeah right.

I bought these back in April of 2023, it’s been two summers and still not one flower has emerged. The plants have grown a lot and are covering a 15’x10’ area

I got 2 water poppies and 2 lily tubers in April... put them all in water the day they arrived and potted them 2 days later. the lily tubers have done great, however, the poppies, while they had a little hint of green when I opened them, died off and did not grow at all. I was hoping for new growth sprouts, however, now, 2 months later are still just a dirt pot in my pond.
