Your cart is empty.Water Hyacinth are great biofilters. Their long roots provide a hiding place for smaller pond inhabitants. They grow extremely fast, specially with lots of sun exposure. Your fish will love them. They will appreciate the shade, shelter, and food provided. They are 100% chemical free, fish and shrimp safe, and grown in nurseries not harvested from the wild.

Sorry guys....wish I could give better recommendation....BUT I probably should have given it 1 star....Couldn't believe my eyes as to how tiny this plant was! Plus....it didn't even live 1 1/2 months! I've had a 1200 gal Koi pond for 23 years, & needed some plants, so when I found I could get these from Amazon, I was over the moon! NOW I seriously doubt I'll ever order plants on line again!

I was happy to see they survived for about 2 weeks however they never grew in size just kept depleting in color. I found some at a local nursery and WOW I noticed a big deference in size and price. I think if these plants arrived bigger they may have survived the shock/stress of heat shipping.

Definitely best value out there. Hard to find this item less than $10. However, the seller doesn't put big effort on quality shipping. I got my item in weak condition (which corroborated with other reviewer complaints). But since I'm experienced with this plant, I was able to rejuvinate it with no problem and now it's flourishing well. If you're experienced, then it's a great opportunity to get it cheap. Newbies will be frustrated by poor quality and dead plants....

I called a few nurseries in the area to get just two plants because they multiply so very fast I knew I didn't need more. To my surprise (as I've been able to buy them in the past) I was told they are an invasive species and no longer sold. Here was the ONLY place I was able to buy them. Because of that, I've now heard from other koi pond keepers, these plants can be potted and brought inside to winter. I will do that in the fall because these plants floating in the pond are ideal for shading the fish and providing hanging roots for eggs and fry. And as for them being invasive, I understand and will take extra care as not to introduce them anywhere where they may grow uncontrollable.

The plant arrived was really tiny, it was not an actual plant but a small cutting from the main plant. As a result, it couldn't survive. The seller is cheap and doesn't care about giving any value to customer. Buy from this brand instead: Florida Aquatic Nursery. I bought the 5 plants for $19.97 and it was worth it.

I am delighted with my water plants! I ordered the hyacinth and the water lettuce. The packaging was good. They arrived very quickly. They had a few brown leaves, which I clipped off, but otherwise looked pretty good. They have been in my pond for about two weeks and they are thriving. I already have new growth on both of them. I appreciated the personal note that came with the plants detailing care and prompt customer service, if needed. I am very happy. I will be ordering a few more. Thank you!

They were alive and healthy when I received them. After just a couple of weeks they were dead in my gold fish pond. Wouldn't buy again.

Live plant shipping is tough. These folks are easy to communicate with. My first plant did not make it, they sent a sturdier replacement after I requested it via e-mail. They were super courteous, timely, and easy to deal with. They include a wonderful note with each plant on how to care for it.You must understand plants, and that you are getting a plant shipped in the mail. The are quality specimens but you wouldn't display them in a museum.I would order from them again, no problem.
