This is my second purchase. I originally bought a single to see what the quality was. I am so happy with the first one that I have taken advantage of the get one free offer. These a all very healthy and ready to plant. I will be buying more next spring!

This is a sad review because I orderd a red water lilly rhizome earlier in the season and had no problems. It is thriving in our pond and has already produced 3 beautiful blooms. This blue one came and had little or no roots to work with. I planted it exactly like the red one (I watched dozens of videos on how to do this successfully) but it just couldn't take root as there was nothing there, just a black lump that we would find floating around in our pond. We tried over and over to get it right, but it just was a rotten mess to begin with. When someone pays good money to get a product that you can easily clone from others you have it is so important to provide enought roots & leaves for the plant to survive. I am not a novice at gardening and have other water lillies in the pond that are just beautiful. So I can not give a very good rating for this company & product.

My reason for the low review is for a few reasons. I received 3 of these water lilies and I planted all 3 the same exact way. Two started growing and one never did anything. I pulled the one not showing any growth and it was just soft and mushy. So after receiving one bad one I messaged the seller and never got a response. I waited weeks. So if you order from this seller and get bad plants you either have to return all or take a loss on the one bad one in my case. I will not order from this seller again. If anyone ever reaches out to make things right I will update my review.*Update... At this point only 1 of the 3 lili pads is alive and growing very very slow. Tried to contact seller and never got a response. I would stay away from this seller.

I bought 2 and got one free. Unfortunately these were lost in the mail and took 9 days to get to me. The seller shipped them promptly and packaged them with such excellent care that despite being lost in the mail, they arrived looking stout but slimy. I was going to just return them at first but I wanted to at least give them a try and these fat, Hardy lil things are doing great.They have new leaves. They survived. I am sure that had they not been lost in the mail they would be so much further along but folks, I’m seriously impressed with how Hardy they are and how quickly it’s snapped back from shock. And the color of the leaves is soooo pretty. A deep wine color almost. They are so healthy looking. You’d never know they were so slimy just a few days ago.I will DEFINITELY be ordering more and trying to time it not near a holiday this time (I ordered too near Easter I think) and I can’t wait for for lotus blooms.I say definitively put this buyer on your favorites list. I’m very satisfied.Buy with confidence.(Fyi I did not contact the seller. Amazon did not let me simply reach out. They wanted to force me to select an issue but didn’t have my particular issue on the list of options so I decided not to reach out and make the seller look bad. I’m so pleased with this lotus even though it has a rough start. The speed of delivery was out of their hands. They tried to get it to me quickly.)

The bulbs arrived healthy looking, but I can tell by looking at them that they are NOT hardy water lilies. I’m in a zone where they won’t survive winter and I’ll have to remove them from my pond. Just be aware of that before ordering.July 6, 2022 Update: One out of four is doing very well, with flower buds emerging. Two are dead and rotten. The remaining one is still alive but not growing yet. Considering that one of them was free, I’m not out a ton of money…just a little disappointed.

It seems that this product is a lottery. Some people are happy with it and some not at all. Unfortunately we received a tiny, barely viable rhizome. We decided to give it a try, it didn’t survive, and the company didn’t at all respond to our request for refund or replacement. So if you take the risk and order this product, return it immediately if it’s not satisfactory. Or better yet, use another provider. We have very good experience with Sonoran Water Gardens. So far they sent us beautiful, full size, strong water lilies.
