Your cart is empty.Water lettuce provides a floating rosette of attractive foliage that resembles lettuce. The plants float in ponds and water features, forming dense clumps of leaves. The leaves remain dry while the long roots dangle freely in the water. The plants shade the water and the floating roots leach nutrients from the pond. Water lettuce grows naturally as a tropical perennial. In colder climates, grow the plant as an annual or bring it indoors to overwinter. Your fish will love them. They will appreciate the shade, shelter, and food provided. Increases oxygen in the water. They grow extremely fast, especially with lots of sun exposure. They are 100% chemical free and are fish safe. These plants prefer calm waters. Place them away from waterfalls or water currents or they can perish. Koi fish will eat these plants so if you are not planning to feed your fish with this plant do not buy.

The plants came not in the best shape. It's still alive in my pond but seeming to struggle and lost all of its leaves except for a few. But it is still alive.

This company is out of CA, so specimen couldn’t have been in transit more than a few days. I'm not new at pond and water feature products, I have been working with them for 30 plus years. I moved and didn't want to try to take samples with me, so I thought I'd purchase again. However, what was delivered to me, even if it was all brown, was not a $20 product. I purchased 2 of these plants expecting at least one full grown plant, which neither were. There was barely any roots and these were not even good offshoot "pups" so, not a good specimen at all. I see some people did get nice products. The upside is they grow fairly fast, so hopeful that I will actually get a good adult specimen after a few weeks out of that one that seems to be a budding pup. However, I wouldn't purchase from this company again. Too iffy...They did give me back the price of the water lily on faith, said they couldn't see the pictures above. However, I lost the shipping, handling and taxes, so I was out $10.

I ordered 1 water lettuce. Was packaged well. While this is a floating plant that is usually put in a pond, I put it in my fluval flex 32.5 just to see what would happen. Within a few days it propagated real pretty roots and I now have 3 more offspring. I am very happy how it all turned out. The fish love the shelter it gives them and my guppy fry have a great place to hide.

Received plant some weeks ago, most roots were brown and yellow leaves. However is recovering really fast, it's starting to grow really nice looking green roots. I'm liking it a lot!!It did came with two baby snails, I'm keeping them in the vase, but other users might need to be aware of it.
