They arrived in pretty good condition. Seemed to be doing good for a while and then they started to thin out and disappear. I wasn't sure if they were dying or being eaten by deer or racoons. When I came back from a 10-day vacation I noticed that the fish didn't touch the vacation food that I left for them and that the plants were nearly gone. Turns out my goldfish love these plants.

I know that some reviews complain about how the plants arrive. But just give them some time. They have to be sealed to keep them damp. No water plant likes being shipped. Mine were a little pitiful looking when they arrived as well. But just give them time. I plopped mine into my little fish pond immediately after receiving. They are bouncing back nicely! Now all green, and one has even started blooming. Just be patient, and let them acclimate. Takes a week or so for them to bounce back. You’ll be pleased. I will buy from this company again. UPDATE: they are doing Very well! I bought 5 little plants, and they’ve almost doubled. They have grown and separated, I couldn’t be more pleased. Please excuse the mess in the picture, this pond gets full sun all day and algae has been a bit of a problem. I ordered the imitation lily pads to add more shade (also an Amazon find) and they have helped a lot. My goldfish were in dire need of shade. These water hyacinths are great, I would definitely buy them again. They are growing well!

I am beyond thrilled with this company and product. The quality is spot on!! I failed to check my mail snail and email, due to temps in the 100’s. It was delivered and sat in my mailbox during a heat wave for at least 30 hours. I for sure thought though I was opening a dead plant. To my surprise it was alive and looked great. That was the 10th of July. Today is the 13th, last night my husband noticed a small shoot and we’re pretty shocked, I can’t believe it’s blooming already! I thought we’d have to wait till next season to be honest. Five stars and than some are in order! I think for how great this product is, you should definitely charge more, I’d happily pay knowing the joy this plant already brought us.

They arrived early and were in pretty good shape, when I opened them up. Placed them in my pond and they floated on their sides for about 24hrs. I was a bit concerned, but the next day they were floating upright and had started to green up. They have already started to grow a bit too. I’m in Florida and it’s in the high 80’s, and my pond gets full sun most of the day. This is a small frog pond, and I think the hyacinth will definitely make it look nicer, as well as provide some cover for the frogs and tadpoles.

When the plant first arrived, it appeared to be in bad shape, with little short roots. However, after reading more about it, the short roots are on purpose so they don't get knocked off during shipping. We added the plant to our goldfish pond and not only does it provide shade and food for the fish, it also looks very nice. It has grown very fast in a short amount of time and is healthy.Very pleased with this plant especially since it is a great value for the cost.Thanks.

The shipping for this item was a bit high. For the small size we received and how easily it fell apart once in our pond. It didn’t last long enough for us to even see it bloom.

Strong but small plants. Quick growers and a few extra bunches free. Resilient!
