there growth rate is so significantly high, so even though some leaves were damaged during shipping and fell off, the plant is quickly producing new leaves to replace them, will be coming backwhen I set up my sec fresh water tank.

These aquatic plants arrived quickly and were in great shape. They have been in our small fountain now for almost a month and are developing a nice root system and thriving.

Seller sent yellow plants, not fresh, and take long time to ship out. If you think price is cheap, re-consider buying, it is not worth buying from this seller. Check with others, they are selling much better plants.

I bought these because I was told they can get rid of algae in a pond by out-competing them for resources in the pond. They worked. The pond is very clear after a month or two. The plants lived from April until sometime late in the winter, then the plants died and the algae slowly came back. They can't survive the winter, but they were fairly attractive, and kept the pond looking nice while they were around.I have bought similar products from other retailers, and I had problems. Either the plants the other retailers sent were too immature, or packaged poorly.

So these started out great. All 3. Then started shrinking smaller and smaller. Until I had about 10 tiny plants. Took them from the pond and put them in the pot fountain and now they are thriving. Over 100 plants easy over the last few months. Protect the roots from the fish. Check water everyday for proper PH and nitrates. Plants need food. Nitrates from the ammonia changed by the bacteria. Too much hurts fish not enough plants die. So they will grow. Right now they are over growing, and when they break off they get washed down the water fall into the pond. From now on I will rotate the plants from pond the top of fountain. I credit this water lettuce for better water, all the extra nutrient absorption and water clarity. They fish have eaten all other pond plants. Only some seeweed and amazon sword I think. Pretty much gone. Oh well. But this water lettuce. It grows nice and quick and thick. Check your water with test strips.
