Very nice piece of equipment. A must for small engine (as well as automotive) diagnostic work. This unit has Schrader valves on all the hoses, where they screw into the spark plug hole. This gives a much more accurate reading. Also comes with spare parts such as o-rings and Schrader inserts.

Nice testing kit. Has long and short thread adapters. Used it to test a Kawasaki KX85. Showed about about 150 PSI, which is good news. All components appear well made.

This is a nice complete set, like how it’s laid out. I purchased to be able to check compression on small engine equipment and autos.Have not used yet, appears to be good quality.Everything in nice case.

The item was received well packaged. All fittings are steel and not brass like cheaper brands. Parts snapinto molded grooves. Instruction manual is in several languages and easy to understand. Spare "O" ringsand Schrader valves included. The Schrader valve is what is in the valve stem of your tire. Each hose hasone of these at the spark plug end to improve accuracy in the reading. The gauge has a release valve toreset for the next test. I did several tests on a couple weed whackers to check for repeated accuracy.Doing any test, make sure the throttle is held open or blocked open to get an accurate reading. Not doing this will result in a lower reading. Manual recommends doing the test on a warm motor. My thought is the rings and piston will have a light coat of oil making for a better seal giving a more accurate reading. This is a high quality product well worth the extra money.

This is a well made, accurate compression tester. I've used it on two Honda Elements. Make sure you get the engine up to operating temperature before removing the spark plugs and testing. On a Honda Element, you floor the gas when testing. This stops the gas flow so you don't flood your engine. Other people may have to pull a fuse or do something else. Great product!

This compression gauge set is first class. It has all the adapters that you will ever need. As a bonus they included spare o rings too. The gauge is big enough for you to see at a distance and the quick disconnect makes changing the adapters a breeze. I love it.

Found the kit to be very well made, from the blow moulded case down to the spark plug adapters, and it was a nice thing to find consumable spares such as o rings in the kit.The rubber hoses are good quality and suitable for what they need to do. flexible but not too flexible and will take a adapter out of a deep cylinder head without collapsing. The airline fittings felt nice and had a positive engagement with no leaks. The guage had a nice smooth action, and most importantly was consistent. I dont care if its inaccurate by a small percentage, but i want it to be consistent, and it was. From memory i think it comes with spare schrader valves for the guage to which is a bonus. All round a well made and at the price, a very good value tool. I have used several different brands prior, both name brands from leading auto shops like from bursons to cheap eBay chinese offerings, and i wont ever bother to use anything else in future if i need to replace it. Im now snooping around for vacuum tester as i know i will get quality. Thanks

I would have preferred that the hoses were extensions instead of having fixed attached plug hole adapters. This would have made it possible to adjust the length making the unit more flexible. That said, good set. I only checked one cylinder so actual accuracy is unknown but better than my old (15 years +) KD Tools which read 125lbs on all cylinders. Cold Block Test of 350 #1 Cylinder with 111,000+ miles: 3 test results were Consistent -155lbs 155lbs 155lbs and held pressure.

Used it on checking the integrity of the cylinders on a 2017 Kia Forte and it performed flawlessly. Easy to use and didn't break the bank. Liked the big numbers on the gauge and I really liked that it came with extra seals and valve core stems. I'm really starting to like MityVac products. I own this kit and the Brake Bleeder (Metal Housing) and they both performed exceptionally well.

This is my 4th different compression tester that I buy... Finally something that actually works!!! Silverline air leaks everywhere. Sealey cheap one, inaccurate reading. The hose does expands due to pressure... Sealey deluxe 100 pounds and the same problem... This one the way it is build I can compare to a snap-on one. You have several varieties of sizes and it even comes with a service kit. For the price, quality and accuracy I doubt you are going to find a better one. The picture with the reading is on a bike with a cold engine. Just wanted to test the compression quickly.
