I received the miniature orange welder and liked its appearance and functionality, except it should’ve came with a better larger face shield that you could put over your head and over your face. It only came with a small shield that set in a plastic thing that you hold in your hand, which is not very functional. Also, the product should’ve came with better gloves that are long and resist heat and slag better instead of the white cotton gloves that came with it. I decided I wouldn’t use it hardly at all so I sent it back, but it seemed like a good little welder for a beginner!

It's a nice light compact stick welder. My first one that came in turned on fine but didn't strike an arkso I sent it back and the seller quickly replaced it definitely worth it for what the price is it's and how it performs and is also pretty easy to use if you know the basics of stick welding and I also like how it has a emergency power shut off if it gets to much power trying to go threw it so it reduces the chance of electrical fire if the welding machine went to short out for whatever reason

First off, I grew up welding with Miller and Lincoln stick welders to build trailers, and make repairs on the farm, but not by trade and I am by no means a professional welder. I dont use a welder enough to justify today’s prices on a decent engine drive welder for in the field, but wanted a small welder to pack along on my farm service truck that has a 4000 watt 120V generator to run power tools and an air compressor. I tried this thing out with some 3/32 6013 to weld up a crack in an old brush hog deck and it performed flawlessly and made a strong weld. Striking g an arc was much easier than I expected with an 120V welder. The only cons I can think of is that the amp reading is double what the actual output is, and the welding mask is a joke that stayed in the box. Overall a nice welder that will work perfectly to make field repairs if needed.

I love this little welder. It is so small and lightweight, and I could easily sit it on top of my engine while I work on my car.I have used it to weld a nut onto a broken bolt that was stuck inside my transmission. I have also used it to patch a hole in my air intake, and a hole in my exhaust pipe, and it works great! If you work on cars, then you will definitely need this.
