It's a dream to have

I have a collection of scrap wire / cable in various sizes to strip. I've used commercial wire strippers before, so, have some background as to how to set-up this equipment and how it works. However, I can see where the absence of any instructions would be be a problem for others. The inclusion of mounting screws and allen wrenches for making adjustments is pretty much the only unexpected plus. Construction appears to be sturdy, but, not for commercial or long-term / frequent use. The unit delivered to me was clearly USED based on stripped paint at screw mounts and knicks in blade - I don't expect another one to be any better, so, I will make due with the one I have. [don't want it to be passed on to the next buyer again!]. The cutting blade appears to have some knicks in it from prior use, but, it still cuts. The cable grip wheel slips easily - there's a fine line in the adjustment for wheel pressure between too tight and not tight enough. The cable guide [thin plate with 3 holes in it] is more of an impediment than helpful - I leave it off. The absence of a notch or hole in the drive shaft for the handle set screw is unfortunate - had to create that myself to keep the hand crank from slipping on shaft. I can be patient and I will make due....

Because there were no instructions included in the package it has been extremely difficult to use this product. I have been working with this for about a week and I’ve still not been able to get it to work properly. Instructions would have helped greatly.

This took care of all the wire I had very quickly and easily. Try a few test runs to get the pressure right though, as it will cut the metal apart if your tension is too high. My only complaint is the set screw for the handle isn't enough to keep the handle from slipping on the shaft. Perhaps a divot or a second screw would fix that problem
