How to use the wire stripper?
Step 1
Place the prepared cable in the middle of the stripping tool's blade.
Step 2
According to the thickness of the cable type, the adjustment of the stripping knife mouth.
Step 3
Hold the handle of the stripping tool, the cable will be clamped, slowly force the outer skin of the cable slowly peeled off.
Step 4
Finally release the tool handle, remove the cable, the cable metal is neatly exposed outside, the rest of the insulation plastic intact.

It may be the product I got, but it only cuts at around a 10deg angle, so it will only create spirals. I cannot get a good straight cut on this product. I will be returning and purchasing something else.

I started using it and after a few seconds the blade got out of adjustment and I tried to fix it and continue with the work but it didn't work well. It seems that the tool is broken inside. Very poor quality and I couldn't even use it properly. I don't recommend it.

For the price point this tool works great, just tested on 1999 dual steel strength member and worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this tool for any fiber tech.

I’ve used a few different cable slitters in the past several years and I found them to be a pain to deal with and so expensive, I think the first one I purchased was over $250 and the replacement blades were like $60. I work with fiber Optic cable and having to deal with some pretty gnarly cables, some double armored. What’s great about this cable slitter is it has handles on both sides, I never understood why a lot of them only have a grip on one side it made it hard to cut into the cable and keep it at the right angle as you slit it. I also had issues with blades breaking to easy and even had issues with pieces just vibrating off while just sitting in a tool bag.I like the way this one is designed, simple not a lot of little parts to lose, blade adjustment is so easy just turn the adjustment wheel, no tools needed to adjust blade depth. Blades hold up well plus comes with spares which are also easy to replace and of course there are grip on both ends. If you strip a lot cable like I do, I highly recommend this tool.I have nothing to say negative about this stripper so far.
