This 8” Multi-Functional Wire Stripper is a redesigned and completely updated version from MulWark that performs even better in wiring projects. With precise bladed holes for specific gauges of wire, it can strip wires of gauge from 22 AWG to 8 AWG efficiently and accurately. As an all in 1 multi-purpose tool, it can also loop wires, cut screws & bolts and crimp both insulated and uninsulated terminals. It features:

TIPS FOR WIRE STRIPPING
- If the notch is too large, the wire will not get stripped
- If the notch is too small, there is a risk of damaging the wire
- If a wire does accidentally get a nick in it, the best plan of action is to cut the damaged part of the wire off and try again

Over the years, I've had many wire strippers/cutters/crimpers. These are one of the best strippers/cutters/crimpers that I've owned. The features like the backside protection cover and the discarding drop hole make using this tool easier to use. It is easy to adjust the stopper and the tool is easy to use. I would definitely buy this item again and would recommend purchasing this item. Note - I was not compensated in any manner for this review.

The flexibility of not having to determine wire gauge to strip is very handy, but if you're looking for a consistent strip point, I'd look at a pair of wire strippers that use the kind of bladed-hole method. These operate by gripping the insulation at one point and pulling it off at another, and the spot that the insulation tears at isn't always consistent (at least when I was working with a lot of 12AWG solid). Additionally, the little length-setting piece of orange plastic that you can tighten down stays tight for ~6 wires, and then risks jiggling out of place unless you re-tighten the thumb screw.It's not a terrible device by any means, and I'll keep it around for small wires for sure; that said, if you're stripping a lot of residential-gauge wire and want a consistent lead length, I'd recommend looking at other options.

Best built wire stripper/cutter/crimper out there ... bar none. Included spare parts a bonus. Original went missing and within a week I replaced the Bulwark 3. Took the tool for granted over the years until it went missing ... I have no problem recommending this product with a 5 star rating.

スピーカーケーブルを仕上げる作業につきものの被覆を剥く作業には苦労します。ついつい細い撚り線を切ってしまいます。その分確実に電気抵抗が増すことになりますから。カッターナイフで指を切りそうになったことも多々ありました・・・。思い切って、この商品を購入。今までの苦労はなんだったのかしら。実に作業がはかどります。しかも、きれいな仕上がりです。撚り線をギリギリ傷つけないサイズを選び、ツーアクションで切る・・・、まあ、自分の道具にするための練習も楽しいものです。よい商品です。
