A favorite of electrical experts, this wire fish pole provides an extended reach to make it easier to pull wires or cables in hard to reach areas on the jobsite such as over suspended ceilings or under sub-floors. The hook at the working end of the cable reacher can be used to quickly grab and install cables and wires with up to a 3/4-inch (19 millimeter) diameter. Made for convenience on the job, the pole features a fold over design that extends to 3-feet long and can easily collapse to just 6-3/8-inches long when you're not using it, and a clip is included to allow you to conveniently hold it in your shirt or jacket pocket in-between jobs. As a 30-year structured cabling guy, this is a handy item. Getting a few extra feet of reach when you're up in a ceiling can be a big help.

Love this hook, unfortunately it doesn’t last. I have probably broken 10 of them. Great for gently pulling on a cable but if you pull too hard it breaks

As a Physician with spinal problems I must say this is a wonderfully compact tool for retrieving dropped objects like keys, etc. I recommend it to all my patients with impaired bending capacity. No more struggling in a parking lot after you drop your keys. I go nowhere with out it.

I've been wanting a telescoping hook to help me retrieve flies stuck in trees while fly fishing but the ones made for fishing are bulky. This is slim and lightweight, extends just enough that I can grab a branch and sturdy enough to pull it down. It's just a little 'bendy' with stiffer branches but it's already saved me quite a few dollars in potentially lost flies! I went on a fishing trip with a group of people and now they all want one!

We bought this to use with our projector screen. It works great. The hook makes it easy to grab the handle and pull it down. The length makes it a breeze to put the screen back up. It hangs by the small hook on our wall for quick use. Perfect for our needs.

This is the handiest little gadget ever! I purchased it to grab the O ring on my blinds,it works perfectly for that. Its light weight and well made. Could easily carry it in my purse forgrabbing items on shelves while shopping.

Had this for a couple of years...it works, but it's too light. It bends, and doesnt take a strong tug. If you're trying to tug 14/2 wire in a tight space, this tool isn't strong enough. Mine pulled apart eventually...way too expensive for its ability. You're paying for Greenlee name, but not the quality.

I looked all over for something like this. I use it to open and close my tier curtains which are at the window behind my tub, just three feet out of reach, I’d have to step in the tub otherwise. I also discovered I can grab the end of the fan chains to pull the chains 1-2-3-off. Works perfectly and stores like a regular pen. I’m sure it will come in handy more around the house. My budget was $7, but this was double that, but worth it. Now I know, if I’m out shopping and ever come across this for less, it’s a must!!!!

I'm a telecom tech, and although a little pricey this is my 2nd one of these tools. The 1st one lasted over a year. They are not very durable, but they sure are handy! If you use it with a little care it will become an invaluable part of your daily use tools.
