This is an awesome concept, just not the easiest to execute. I tried to get the netting to clip into the edge, and was not successful, so that’s my reason for the star deduction. I was able to utilize the materials elsewhere, so all was not lost.

Only came with three corner clips. Too bad there’s four corners. Otherwise ok.

This is an adaptable item, and can be used for many things. We wanted it originally for a different tank, but we are now using it as a top for our crabitat. Easy to use, and functions as it should.

I really like this fish tank net. It took about 10 minutes to assemble and adjust, but the final result was satisfying. It’s easy to put on and remove for water changes. The size is just right for most home tank sizes. The net is sturdy at the top, making it a fully functional alternative to glass tops amd allowing air flow. Overall, it's a great product that is both easy to assemble and easy to use.

This solved my need of needing lid for my tank that was fairly low profile. It took a little time to put together since you custom fit it to the dimensions you need. The mesh seems pretty sturdy and the magnets work well. My one co paint is that could be more stabilization pieces. There’s only 2 small pieces that don’t work very well. Make for a floppy lid on larger tanks. It said you can cut out areas for equipment but I have. It tried that, seems like it would become even floppier.

It has enough material to handle a good size tank. The magnetic strips have good holding power. The corner connectors only work for a top mount installation. It snaps together good and is highly customizable. I had a bit of trouble going around my tank filters and either need to get a brace or do some fancy cutouts. I think maybe if they included a plastic cross brace it would ease the installation around filters. Overall the materials are all fine and would be best for aquariums that are non aquatic.

This was very easy to assemble in spite of the not-so-clear instructions. Once assembled, it looks great, and it is easy to open and close the final product - see pictures.Next steps are cutting the openings for a filter and feeder, and I do not see that being an issue.

First, the instructions are horrible and broken English. I went back on Amazon to look at the pictures to figure out what it was supposed to look like.Everything is flimsy so it makes assembly more difficult. I think having a solid frame would’ve been better to assemble and for functionality but once the tank cover is on the tank it looks nice and sleek. I’m not sure if taking it on and off will be an issue in the future.During installation I was a little fearful putting pressure on my glass tank sides to snap the frame onto the magnets to secure the netting. It was a bit tricky since my tank is rimless. Something I did to help with the frame is to use a hairdryer to heat up the frame to straighten it out. It comes all curled up which makes it harder to work with.Like I stated before. Once it’s complete and ontop of the tank it actually looks good and clean. I don’t see much of any light transmission being blocked to the tank from the netting.
