The product is of excellent quality. However, the write-up on the product comes up rather short. That’s because this set of covers contains THREE separate covers for 72” long tanks. But framed 72” tanks typically require only two covers , NOT THREE. That leaves these three separate covers completely unsupported above the tank, resulting in their falling into the tank itself. 72” framed tanks typically have only one crossbar funning from front to back, NOT THREE. The crossbar is typically about an inch wide with a quarter inch lip running around the bottom of the top framing, which holds up the glass tops. So be careful, because if you’re using a standard 120 gallon tank (72”x18”, this top WILL NOT WORK.This isn’t the first item I’ve had to send back because it’s write-up wasn’t nearly thorough enough to ensure a proper fit. A simple rebuilding of my standard 120 gallon aquarium has become much more difficult because of those write-ups.

I ordered these as a replacement for my tank (has the 2 braces on the top) and they are a perfect fit! There are 3 in the box, none were broken. I look like I have a new tank again!

Arrived shattered due to improper packing. The one that wasn’t broken is short 1-2 inches so it doesn’t go front to back plus the 125 gallon tank I have is a center brace the 3 pieces of glass lid is no good

Shipping took a little bit longer then expected, but 2 out of the 3 lids came in one piece with a little chip on the corner for one of them but the third one was totally busted up but other then that the other two looked great

I like the quality of the glass and that is has 3 panels. I dislike that is not 72x 18 as it say it actual size is 66 x 16.5 so I have to modify my own brackets to make this lids work for my tank .

Great product that needs a better dimensions description. 72x18 kit comes with 3 panels each one is 22 inches in length and fits perfectly our 125 gallon aquarium with 2 plastic dividers on top. It's very well packed and made in USA!

It came in 3 pieces, 1 of the 3 were broken. Also it says it fits a tank 72 x 18. And the lid itself is 16 3/4. Didn't fit my tank at all. I just returned it and going to see what happens next. Wouldn't get this again.

I bought a "New" Aqueon, 125 gallon fish tank. I had an OLD one. The new lids barely cover the openings, so much so that I will have to add a strip of plastic on the side of each to keep them from falling inside the tank. The lids fit perfectly in my old one. :(

This product was the wrong size be sure you read the fine print it is not 18x72 other than that it looked good I sent it back and made my own top

I have a 125 gallon tank WITH THE TWO BRACES in the tank. These worked perfectly. THEY ARE THREE SEPARATE PIECES. Although the first shipment had one of the tops shattered to pieces (which was Amazons fault for shipping with a lot of other items so it didn't get the packing attention it should have), Amazon replaced it immediately and the new ones were perfectly fine. They are actual glass, not plexiglass, and have a good weight to them. They measure just a fraction under 22", so they fit perfectly in between the frames that are right at 22" wide. With the plastic add-ons, they fit exactly to the depth as well. Of course, the plastic part needs to be cut to fit whatever is coming into the tank over the top. The stick on handles for the lids work well and hold nicely (at least so far).The glass tops look great and fit great, they serve their purpose as expected. And since the shipping issue has nothing to do with the products function/aesthetics, I'm giving it five stars. That's why they have a separate place for shipping ratings. If anything changes, I'll update as needed.

I have a 72x18 1/2 inch 125 gallon tank. This order is falsely advertised. first, the glass canopy comes in 3 small sections that cover your tank length wise. second each individual glass section is only 16 1/4 inches in width, so this crappy product doesn't even cover my tank and is falsely advertised at 18 inches. im not even including the fact that one of the glass panes was smashed to bits in transit, everyone has different experiences with shipping. Also, did I mention that it comes in 3 stupid glass sections?? Those sections are meant to reach the bracers each large tank has so the glass doesnt bellow and smash outwards. The derpish glass sections barely even reached them. personally I am very unhappy with my purchase.... I immediately refunded this order thru amazon.com and will be returning it TOMORROW. If you are looking to buy a 6ft canopy THIS ORDER IS NOT FOR YOU. Seriously....... DONT BUY IT
