THIS IS A VERY NICE, THICK GLASS, STURDY GLASS TOP WITH CLEAR PLASTIC ON THE HINGE.IT WILL FIT A RIMMED TEN GALLON, BUT LISTEN UP! THIS TOP, NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS, WILL NOT WORK ON TOP OF AN AQUEON RIMLESS TEN GALLON AQUARIUM! YOU CAN LAY IT ON THERE, BUT THERE'S TOO MUCH SPACE ON EITHER END, AND IT WILL FALL IN. SERIOUSLY! I have a curved edge frameless tank so had some trouble finding a lid that would fit well, this lid’s measurements were perfect. The plastic piece left a small space at the back for heater cords, etc., and it was easy to customize to fit my filter as well. Make sure to measure before buying!

Doesn't fit. Front to back it's short by 1/8th inch, side to side it's short by almost 1/4 inch. I had to rig up a rail on one side to make it fit for now. I tested it on two different 10g tanks just to make sure it wasn't my tank. Quality seems fine at least.

Initially purchased for a 20 gallon tank a few months ago. Unboxed it this past week to set up and it’s too NARROW by almost a 1/2 inch. It’s past the return date so now I’m stuck. Can’t find the listed 10gal tanks they now say it only fits. Do not recommend.

Had to jury rig it to hold over till I can get one that actually fits. Since I cut the plastic back area to add more to the missing 1/8"+ on each side it was short, I can't really return it. Very disappointed. And stick with an expensive piece of glass junk.
