This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any product from Amazon. First off the adhesive is a joke, the seals are a joke and the netting is very frustrating and won’t stay attached. Also it comes rolled up so you can’t lay it out and put it together properly, a COMPLETE waste of time. It went straight in the trash.

Quick Review:This works well enough once you figure out which method to use and how to make it happen.Skip the first installation method and just move to the one that has you use the sides of the tank. This method is more straight forward and much quicker to do.Once the netting is secured and cut, it is surprisingly strong for what it is. Even when you cut an access hole it remains pretty tight.Note that you do not need to put the magnetic strip around the entire tank...you can cut it and space it out for larger aquariums.Simple cost effective solution, but installation may be a bit of a pain.

Works great! We were stuck because apparently they don’t make a screen lid for our big tank. It came with a plastic dome lid, but we needed screen/net, as it was for a bearded dragon. This fit the bill PERFECTLY.Easy to apply and use.My only complaint or suggestion would be that it would make more sense to have enough magnetic adhesive to go all the way around the amount of netting provided. For example, If the net is able to cover a space that is 18”x36”, it makes more sense to include enough magnetic adhesive to cover 54” - to go around the edges of the entire aquarium. I ended up buying a second kit to have enough for all the way around, then just have an extra net.

I love this! I was worried based on the instructions on the listing and a review that said it took 2 hours to set up that it would be hard to set up, but it’s pretty intuitive! Once I opened it up and had the pieces in front of me I understood the instructions way better. It probably took me about 45 minutes with mistakes to set it up and it feels super sturdy, the netting is taut, and it’s easy to access the inside of the tank without the whole thing falling apart. It also looks so much sleeker than the lid I had before! I definitely recommend!

It took me a moment to figure out what I was to do with all of the parts they sent.. the instructions are not exactly as straightforward as they could be, but once I figured out the jist of it I wàs off and running. Although they don't exactly explain clearly that you need to leave clear small spaces on the corners as if you don't your second and third rows don't fit on top with the corner sections. So keep that in mind I had to backup and trim every corner.

This was tricky to get installed and working. Once set up it seems to work fine. Will update if there are any long term issues but seems like it will be ok.

The instructions are fantastic, but just the actual installation is a lot. I thought it would take 30 minutes but it took me two hours. Thankfully my fish was very patient. It works excellently, the only problem I have is evaporation, which is understandable considering there’s nothing to keep the heated water in the tank. Definitely a great buy if you’re looking for an alternative lid to glass or if you need an open top for lighting and have jumpy fish like I do.

First, this comes with no institutions so enjoy puzzles.Secondly, how are people getting this thing to lay flat? The plastic is not meant to lay flat, making this difficult at best to put together. I feel like I needed 4 more hands to be successful. The magnet is not strong. I bought this to cut holes in for plants I have in my tank, this was so frustrating to put together and even more so once put together I say save your money and just buy something else!

Once it's set up, its pretty decent. If set up properly, the net seems to be sturdy and secure. I appreciate that they give you a lot of extra netting because its easy to make mistakes (I had to re-cut the net twice, the first time I made a mistake with the size and the 2nd time I ended up getting a different filter). I still have a ton of extra net, however, there is little room for error when it comes to the magnetic strips/clips, so just keep that in mind when measuring. I have a 10 gallon tank and the small size was literally just enough to fit all 4 sides. I'd say if you have anything bigger than a 15 gallon (maybe even a 20 gal, but it's pushing it), definitely go with the bigger size. The only down side is the set up. It took about an hour for me to get it completely set up. The instructions were straightforward and to the point, so that wasn't the issue. The issue was getting the net secured in the clips. Getting the magnetic strip and the clips to completely fasten together with the net in place was a headache (I ended up going with the 2nd form of installation). Eventually, I was able to get the it clipped together and I like how tight and secure it is, even with cutting slots in the netting for the cords and filter. Also, the clips are very thick, so its extremely difficult to cut to size with normal scissors. I'm sure there's an easier way to cut the clips and the magnetic strips to size, but I set up my tank in my office at work and all I had were regular scissors lol. Overall, I like it. Hated the process to set it up, but if I needed to, I would purchase again.
