I ordered two different sizes. Turns out my glass is 8mm not 10. These are great sturdy clips.I will be sending them back. As i already ordered the 8mm

The gap is closer to an 8mm. I added some rubber backing on the inside to make the fit tighter around the rim of my tank and it worked nicely. The plastic is thick and sturdy. It did the job it was supposed to do. The too wide gap is the main reason for 3 stars.

Purchased these because the clips that came with our glass lid kept breaking. This hang on the side of the aquarium glass and hold the lid instead of the other way around. Super sturdy!I do however wish they had something to keep them from sliding around the top of the aquarium.
